Elmhurst's own Kristen Smaga, was living and working only a few hundred miles from Wuhan, China when the COVID-19 outbreak first occurred.  Lucky to catch a flight back to the United States the day before all flights were stopped from China to the U.S., she explains the difference between the Chinese reaction and ours to the pandemic.  She shares her 14-day self quarantine, updates from her friends in China, and her desire to return.

Elmhurst History Museum Executive Director, Dave Oberg, shares all the services the Museum continues to provide during the COVID-19 pandemic stay at home order.  Despite the doors of the Museum buildings being temporarily closed to the public, many great history resources are still available through the website and via telephone.  Speaking of Dave Oberg, he and PK talk about Elmhurst's train town history in an encore "One Ponce a Time" episode.

Elmhurst Public Library Director, Mary Beth Harper shares how the Library continues to operate online, despite the doors of the Building having been closed since March 14th because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  PK and Elmhurst History Museum Director Dave Oberg tell the story of legendary poet Carl Sandburg's relationship with Elmhurst, in the latest episode of "One Ponce a Time".
