    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=eugelys/dnfoygea
    > In this vlog I talk a little about my experience enjoying the concert *By all the ways of affection*, during which I could enjoy the presence of Venezuelan artists, a tribute to Chelique Sarabia, a singer-songwriter who throughout his life created great musical hits such as *Anxiety*. This was a wonderful moment that made me fall more and more in love with choral singing and I felt very proud of the Polyphonic Chorale of the East and its participation.

  • Hive Open Mic Week 186 | La vie en rose (Cover by Eugelys) | Esp-Eng
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=eugelys/muavzjfd

This week the theme of the Hive Open Mic revolves around the word *Cinema* and the first song that came to my mind was *La vie en rose*, which appears in multiple movies to give a unique and special touch to the scenes. It is also part of the soundtrack of the movie that bears the same name and is about the life of the famous French singer *Edith Piaf*, I have not seen this film, as I am not a fan of biographical films of singers, as they are usually shaped of great sadness, I know it is the story of life, but it makes me feel very sad to see that someone so talented and who left a legacy thanks to his voice has had such a hard life as in the specific case of Piaf.
Several years ago I read a lot about the life of this singer, motivated by a *solo* of the song *Hymne a l'Amour* that I had been given at the Coral Polifónica de Oriente, I wanted to know more about the life of this artist and when I read her story I saw that it was marked by pain and loss, I was impressed by the way she could sing with so much power, her exquisite vibrato made me remember the times when I wanted to control mine, without understanding that I could achieve with my voice that musical effect that for many people is not easy to achieve, I could do it naturally.
With curiosity aroused I started listening to several Piaf's songs, among them *La vie en rose*, perhaps one of the most popular and well-known, written by herself and was practicing it. I don't speak French, so to the connoisseurs I can only say that I sang my heart out.
Thank you very much for stopping by and taking the time to listen, have a nice day!

  • Toxic (Cover) by Eugelys | Esp-Eng
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=eugelys/wrvxkggc
¿Has tenido alguna pasión como esa?

Today I'm dropping by, a little late, to share a cover of a song that for me keeps a lot of *Halloween* mood, I find it very funny, in fact, I have a lot of fun when I sing it, I think you'll be able to notice it in the video. The cuatro gives me a lot of freedom of interpretation and I can put a more moving rhythm to certain songs, as in this case, I also tell you that in this video before going directly to the cover I share a little secret (don't tell anyone), maybe some of you will understand it, maybe others won't understand it.
*Toxic* is a playful and bubbly song, it talks about a passion so immense that it is intoxicating to the point of being addictive. Have you ever had a passion like that? I could say that for me singing is passionate and even addictive, when I have had to go many days without singing, because of some virus they have been very difficult days for me.
The style of the original song I can't say that it is my favorite, but I have heard more jazzy versions that I liked a lot, today I present it in my style and I hope you can enjoy it as much as I enjoyed recording it.
I hope you are feeling well and I thank you immensely for taking the time to stop by, I hope we continue listening to many more songs.

  • Practicando "Acróstico" en teclado | Esp-Eng
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=eugelys/ykpvusgm

I've been looking for some songs to practice on the keyboard, my idea is to continue doing the exercise of playing the keyboard and singing at the same time, something I've already told you that I find very difficult. This time I selected *Acróstico* by Shakira, it's not one of my favorite songs, because I don't identify with the rhythm of it, especially with the kind of *rap* she added to the song, in fact, you won't hear that part in this rehearsal.
However, although it is not one of my favorites, it is undeniable that the lyrics of the song have a great message about true love, from the first phrase: "You taught me that love is not a scam and that when it's real it doesn't end", I find it shocking.
Shakira has always been an artist who has not been afraid to show her truths in her songs, whether her lyrics speak of her deepest love or point out the pain of her losses.
For this video I joined the fragments of my rehearsal of that day, I still can't play and sing it from beginning to end, so I selected the takes up to where I could sing and play without stopping and I joined them together.
I will keep practicing because the most important thing for me is to keep doing the exercise of playing and singing at the same time, you can't imagine the happiness I feel when I can achieve it and even if they are small moments I love it (surely you know how I feel about small moments).
I hope you can enjoy this rehearsal and I thank you once again for your kind presence in this publication, have a beautiful start of the week.

    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=eugelys/ehebjpzr

It happens that weeks ago I tried to record this cover, but there was a gap in the voice and the track, I thought it was because I did not fit well to the rhythm of the song without thinking that it was an error in the audio editing program I use which is Audacity, I was trying to record for a long time without getting the expected result, I gave up the idea to focus on what was really wrong.
With this cover I intended to participate in one of the editions of Hive Open Mic, but not being able to coordinate voice and track, I had to pass on my participation that week. After a while I discovered the error in the program, I changed a configuration and I was able to get the cover.
I really like the lyrics of this song, written by Evaluna Montaner, she makes a reflection on the existence of that supreme Being, understanding that it is believed by faith in what we can not touch or see, but we can feel. The song expresses how little we can understand the mysteries of life, but we can still choose to believe in that divine something that we feel in our being.
I added a second voice, which I love to do so much, it always serves me to practice a little harmony, it is a job that can take time while recording, editing audio and video, but in the end it leaves me pleased because I could do it on my own, it is not perfect, I do not pretend perfection, I just feel happy when I can deliver a musical sample like this.
I hope you like it and you can feel what I experienced at the moment of singing, that inexhaustible peace that comes from knowing that God accompanies me every step of the way.

    >When I learned about this week's theme: Urban music, I sincerely thought I would not be able to join this week, I thought I would not find a song to share, however, I remembered a song by the Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo, whose lyrics catch my attention, It is a song that talks about the love breakup and the way in which a couple who loved each other madly come to be in the same room feeling that they can not breathe the same air, I think it's a pretty strong and sobering lyrics for a rhythm like reggaeton whose stories are more focused on being light and trivial.
    >On this occasion I didn't want to make use of a track, I didn't want to feel so *regueton-ish*, so I started to approach the song using my guitar, but something didn't quite convince me.

    y me hace callar,
    solo para disfrutarla.
    Te vas
por las rendijas de mi alma
    y así, sin permiso,
    ya no me dejas pensar.
    Rescubres a es este corazón
    con tu luz,
    atrapas a este ser
que por ti volvió a nacer.
    Y magicamente
te llevas todo el dolor que habitaba
    tras la máscara.
Eres puerto seguro en que atraca
    la nave de mi esperanza
    cansada de navegar.
    Te vas
por las rendijas de mi alma
    y así, sin permiso,
    ya no me dejas pensar.

I cannot imagine a world without constant creations. What would become of us if that were the case? We would not be able to enjoy art moving in all its multiple expressions, understanding by art everything that allows us to express ourselves, not that which will necessarily go to hang on the walls of a museum, but rather those that we consider art because it is the maximum expression of our being at a given moment. Nothing would be renewed and nothing would change.
Enjoying the creations of others is something that feeds the soul, enjoying our own creations is something moving and both pleasures make our life a delight, filling all our senses with pleasure.
The song I share today is one of my originals, it was born some time ago, but in my search for more chords to shape it, I kept postponing its presentation, but a few days ago I remembered it and decided to record it.
*Behind the mask, speaks of that love that is capable of breaking down all the walls, that love that restores you and that can see behind the mask the purest feelings of your heart.*

    that I hear at dawn
    and makes me keep quiet,
    just to enjoy it.
    You go
through the cracks of my soul
    and so, without permission
you no longer let me think.
    You rescue this heart
    with your light,
    you catch this being
that was born again for you.
    And magically
you take away all the pain that dwelled
    behind the mask.
You are the safe harbor where my hope
    the ship of my hope
    tired of sailing.
    You are leaving
through the cracks of my soul
    and so, without permission
you no longer let me think.
    And magically
you take away all the pain that dwelled
    behind the mask.

    >To be thankful is the verb we should use the most, we are called to give thanks for each of the things that happen in our lives, some are good, others are far from what we expect, but in the end, all of them form us. There are difficult weeks, in which your work is affected by unforeseen events, even so we must give thanks, because not to do so would be to sink into despair and to think that we are victims of the consequences.
    >In my personal opinion, there is nothing more dangerous than feeling like a victim. Feeling victimized makes you vulnerable, malleable and you become cannon fodder for any unscrupulous person who wants to manipulate you.
    >Despite the circumstances that we consider negative in our lives, if we are grateful and focus our attention on the good things, we can move forward without victimization. The idea is to find a powerful force within our being that makes us continue to act and with daily gratitude we can surely achieve this.
    >Today I bring you a version of *Gracias a la vida*, a song popularized by Mercedes Sosa and written by Violeta Parra, it is a song to celebrate gratitude, from those little things that make us immensely happy, it is a celebration of our senses as generators of well-being.
    >I accompanied myself with the *Cuatro* and played it in *Pasaje* style, I had in mind to publish it a few days ago but a setback with my internet connection made it impossible. I hope you can enjoy this cover and continue to be thankful for every situation in life.

Every life experience has to come to empower us, to make us grow and become better human beings every day. Regardless of how good or bad these experiences are, we have the ability to extract the best from those moments. I fervently believe that during these years as a content creator I have managed to empower myself in many ways, from learning to handle programs and applications that I never thought I would master, to the growth as a person that all these experiences have left me.
I have seen people arrive, leave, come back, stay and I know that during their processes they have gained power in one way or another. I have been here as an observer of this vast world, which opens up full of infinite opportunities. One of the things I am most grateful for during this journey has been to meet such interesting and varied people, one of them is my good friend @elisonr13, whom I admire as a singer-songwriter and appreciate for his gift for people.
We have never met in person, but we have been able to make music from a distance. I hope that this year we will be able to create music live and direct. In the meantime, I take a song of his authorship and bring it to you today.
This cloud that is moving away, is loaded with nostalgia and the peace that gives acceptance, in this version I discovered new sounds in voice. Rehearsed in one way and interpreted organically in another, this is one of those songs in which you fly while your voice sounds, a song that allows to relieve the sorrows and heal the heart.
Over the years I have seen Elison empower herself through music and today, thanks to her song, I empower myself a little more. This is the beautiful synergy of Hive, the one that unites us in creation and heart.

  • Hive Open Mic Week 173 | Non, je ne regrette rien - Édith Piaf (Cover by Eugelys) | Esp-Eng
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=eugelys/odsxrksx
***¡Vivan nuestros recuerdos musicales!***

    > This week's theme for the Hive #Openmic invites us to talk about *Memories*. During our lives we collect thousands of them, some positive, others not so much, but in the end they all form our personality. Defined, in large part, by the good things we choose to remember. Of course, we also need to remember some not so pleasant things that have allowed us to grow as human beings and that prevent us from repeating past mistakes.
    > We will surely be more cautious in giving our trust so as not to be betrayed again by remembering people who have no word and in whom we trust blindly, we will also learn about what we love to do and what we are good at, treasuring the good memories we have lived, those that make us smile again and again.
    > One of the things I love doing the most is singing, it is something that I feel renews me, in which I have prepared myself little by little and I have lived wonderful experiences. I have met wonderful people thanks to singing, I have been able to travel to bring that singing and I have had the blessing of receiving standing ovations, something that has made me cry with emotion.
    > This song that I share today, seals one of the best musical moments that I have been able to live. A movie concert to which I was invited to sing a piece of *Edith Piaf*, also that day I had the joy of singing with the choir I founded a solo of *Somewhere over the rainbow*. It was a beautiful event with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Anzoategui, without knowing French I dared to sing this song, let's say I had no choice, it was Me or I (so they let me know), although I explained my null mastery in French they entrusted me with this task, so I prepared the best I could and gave the best of myself on that wonderful day.
    > I remember that musical moment as something sublime, for the sensation of leaving my body while singing, that day I felt that I was floating and that in that long note at the end I was flying to a magical place, that day to feel the applause in the packed Great Hall of the Maremares Hotel was something unforgettable.
    > After a long rest of voice I wanted to share this song for the beautiful sensations that it produces in me, excuse the details that you may find. ***Long live our musical memories!
