This week, Busy and Caissie are visiting Boston, dressed in their finest interpretations of “J Lo Goes to Dunkin Donuts” and chatting with their friend, comedian and star of Bob’s Burgers, Eugene Mirman, about what it’s like to play what is basically a cartoon version of yourself if you were a child. The pivot he shares is heartbreaking but also imbued with so much love. Joining the stage is friend of the pod, Lou Barlow, from the bands Dinosaur Jr., Sebadoh and The Folk Implosion, to play one of Busy’s all-time favorite songs, “Too Pure.” And, as if that weren’t enough, Boston musician Will Dailey comes out to do a duet with Biz, but before he does, he plays a cover of a song in honor of orphans everywhere that’s gonna make you cry like Caissie did.
