Good morning! This morning I present a straight up variety show. I start off with a scam alert that actually had me convinced for a second early this morning. It was in Discord as an imposter pretending to be announcing a Hop Protocol airdrop. They are getting clever folks and they keep up with the current news and trends. Watch out! Then I talk for a while about the Song A Day DAO and Jonathan Mann with his Song a Day project. I love the idea of this project. It hits close to home for me. Good morning! This morning is a bit rushed as I overslept but I wanted to get something done for the day. I take quick looks at GALA and DESO. GALA is a decentralized blockchain gaming platform that I have seen jump the ranks on Coin Gecko lately. I did ape in and buy some. Let's see where this one goes. It seems to have some good content and good partners and there is lots of hype around it, so let's see what happens. Then there is DESO. I was wondering what happened to all the hype around BitClout from last March. Well, now I know. The Founder "Diamondhands" has come out from being anon and seems like he wants to move past BitClout calling it an experiment and move forward with decentralized social media using the blockchain technology underneath BitClout to create an assortment of open source decentralized apps that sit on top on the DESO blockchain. I am hopeful for them as I would love to see someone topple the current web 2.0 social media giants. Good morning! This morning I start out slow, but things begin to heat up when I play the Bankless HQ video I did a double-take on yesterday. I heard David from Bankless reading a Tweet from Jack Niewold that absolutely rails on Cardano and calling it nothing more than a Ponzi Scam. Jack, and David, I think, bring up many valid points. I have also had some negative experiences with Cardano and it is not on the top of my preferred blockchains. However, to be fair, there are alot of great people in the Cardano community. I think Ethereum, Cardano and many other blockchains, share in the mission to help people circumvent the current banking and credit system to allow the average person financial freedom and to use financial tools only designated for the wealthy. I highlight a cool project from the Cardano community that seeks to bridge the divide between the communities through some pretty rad NFTs.

Good morning! Why am I this alive and excited at 5:34 in the morning? I have no idea. But I am laughing hard at the way the big brands and congress are each attempting to relate and understand the crypto space. From Facebook, Pepsi, and Budweiser encouraging each other with the WAGMI meme to Congress talking about the dangers of Mongoose Coin, I just am barely hanging on here folks. This is too much. Is this mainstream misinterpretation the end of subversive crypto? Where will the subversion happen next?

I was given the opportunity to interview two people deep in the decentralized digital identity world. Many people are not knowledgeable or concerned about what digital ID and ownership of personal data brings. Or, they may bring their set-in-stone pre-conceived notions and beliefs about digital ID being used for surveillance and/or enslavement. This eye-opening interview took many of the bits and pieces I knew about decentralized ID and reputations systems and put them together for me in a cohesive whole. We are entering into an inevitable digital world, it is up to us to protect our data and our sovereignty over that data. Humpty and Philip explain how Ontology and Bright ID are helping to shape this realm, and working to bring awareness to the importance of decentralized ID for just about everything in our near future.

Good morning! I started this episode with absolutely no plan and wanted to see where it would take me. I landed on web 3 music, art , and NFTs. There is alot happening in this space right now and I am barely scratching the surface. I read a post by n1k.eth on the gm.xyz web 3 social media platform about fans being rewarded for early artist discovery through NFTs, which leads me to some tangent about being at an early Marilyn Manson show back in 1994. Then I look at Mike Shinoda's web 3 music NFT project called Ziggurats. I am not a fan of Linkin Park, but this project looks amazing! It is on the Tezos blockchain, where I see lots of really good artists flocking to nowadays that the Ethereum blockchain costs too much.
