Evangel Assembly of God Church, Kansas City

Dr. George Wood speaks about the importance of legacy by teaching about the life and legacy of Leah and sharing information from his own personal background.

Pastor Kevin McCormick speaks about the different emotions we can feel when faced with taking a leap of faith and how fear isn’t failure unless it keeps us for jumping into what God has planned for us.

What can the events in your life possibly have in common with Mary and Joseph being called to become parents to the Son of God? If they involve the stretching of your faith, more than you might think! Pastor Jason’s message serves as a great reminder of what gave Mary & Joseph the courage to jump and shows us how to apply these principles to your life.

Did you know that over 13,000 paratroopers jumped from planes during the D-Day invasion? It may surprise you to find out that 4 men didn’t. Pastor Jason contrasts the story of these men with the life of Elisha, who gave up everything in order to jump into what God had for him. This message will encourage you to take a leap of faith that is difficult but ultimately eternally rewarding.

Michael Franzese, former member and mob boss in the Columbo crime family, shares his testimony about how he was changed from a hardened criminal into a devoted follow of Jesus.

Pastor Jason shares a message to help us prepare our hearts to welcome the large number of guests who will be joining our congregation for special events during the holiday season. In particular, he will focus on our need to be aware of and avoid the very real danger of becoming complacent when it comes to sharing Jesus with those around us.

Pastor Jason shares that we often can’t do anything about the things that have occurred in our pasts, but we can always make changes that will make a difference for our futures. This message will remind you how dangerous it is to live in past regrets and how much freedom can come from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Pastor Jason uses the Parable of the Soils to identify many conditions our hearts can have towards God and His message. This message will encourage you to evaluate the condition of the soil in your own heart so that you can make the changes you need to in order to access the full reward God has for you.

According to the Scriptures, each good action can reap a mighty eternal reward for us, so why would we ever decide to be ungenerous or unkind towards those around us? Pastor Jason reminds us to sow generously in order to get the greatest eternal reward for our actions here on earth in this encouraging message about what God has in store for us all.

Another important principle of the harvest or of a chain reaction is that the end results are often much later than we expect and also much greater in terms of consequences. The good thing is, this principle works in both negative and positive ways. In this message, Pastor Jason teaches this principle through the examples of several biblical characters who either got it right the first time or had to learn the hard way.
