The adult Sunday school lesson continues with the Sayings of Jesus. This week's text comes from Matthew 28:18-20. This is Jesus's message to his disciples to live a life being a witness to Him across the world. The disciples were in a unique position to spread the gospel. But the command to be a witness extended past the disciples, it now extends to us in the present to continues to make disciples of Christ. These were actually some of the last recorded words of Jesus.

Jesus was reemphasizing the command to forgive from the old testament. Our own forgiveness from God is partially connected in our forgiveness of others. We are to forgive as God has forgiven us.
