Evergreen LA

Pastor Tommy lays the foundation and center of it all... "A Heart that is Fully in Love" is a heart that can overflow. A heart that is fully in love is a man who can step out in boldness and great faith. A heart that is fully in love is a person who isn’t taken out by the opinions of men. A heart that is fully in love is a soul who can now BUILD WITH JESUS from a healthy, happy, joy-filled posture.

Because Love COMPELS us. It is the great motivator. It moves us from religious duty of “I have to” to “I GET TO.”

In this week's Easter message, "Lives that Demonstrate Resurrection Power," Pastor Tommy Martinsen shares the importance of the cross and resurrection of Jesus and how these events change the entirety of how we live and see all of life.

In this week's message, Pastor Tommy brings us into the story of Palm Sunday, as we see Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem see the impact of His Kingship transforming our lives.

What happens when the doors don’t immediately open? How much do you pursue vs. let the favor fall in your lap? How do we deal with comparison and a desire for shortcuts to success? What does healthy promotion look like vs. an unhealthy self-promotion? When we don’t get our way or what we think is the best roadmap to success, what do we do with that?

We'll be discussing all of these questions in this week's Sermon of the Week!

This teaching is all about God being a Refiner's Fire in our lives, what we do with hardship, and how the Holy Spirit also moves within us with holy fire, that compels us into bold faith and power.

From our series: Purpose & Passion: Fueling Individual and Community Vision, Pastor Tommy addresses the main hindrances from fulfilling your destiny.

The most important thing in fulfilling your calling is to be led by the Spirit. Many Christians don't know how to follow the leading of God, but in this message Pastor Tommy looks at ways to identify how God is speaking and moving, in order to better follow His leadership.

Pastor Tommy brings us deeper in the topic of our purpose, as we lay a foundation of the WHYS of our specific calling -- Why is it important to KNOW your calling? And why is it important to LIVE in your calling?

As part of our "Purpose & Passion" series, Pastor Tommy brings us into a discussion on calling, where we discover our general calling and specific calling.

The Holy Spirit is invisible – but the way that we “see” God is how he demonstrates himself by what He does. The ways that God shows up are the ways that he confirms the truth of who He is and the confirmation of the Gospel message.

Pastor Tommy teaches a short message followed by a gospel presentation by Bryce Crawford.
