I don’t know anyone who’s out here messing up on purpose. Here’s a little story on an interaction I had with a player a few weeks ago

Two little fish are swimming in the ocean, looking for something. They come across two older fish, and ask “hey, can you help us find the ocean?” And the two big fish look at each other, laugh, look back at the kids and say “you’re in it “. Appreciate the process and the relationships you make along the way.

Giving and taking away confidence is a really powerful tool to allow someone else to Have control over. Believe in your players potential, and make sure they understand that their value as a human being has nothing to do with how good they are at sports

“We choose to go to the moon not because it is easy, but because it is hard.“

Just because something is simple, doesn’t make it easy to do. Boil down what you’re trying to do to the absolute necessities, and then stay consistent with it. The simplicity makes it easy the consistency makes it difficult
