Sheri Dew is an author and speaker who has written extensively about faith and personal growth. She said, "We don't get to choose what hurts us, but we do get to choose what heals us." 

Everyone of us is largely the product of his or her beliefs. Our behavior is governed by these firm beliefs that become our standards of conduct. Like you, I have core beliefs. I have a winnowed list of 8, you may have fifty. It is not about the number, it is about knowing what you believe that carries you through the challenges of life and propels you into eternity. It is these beliefs that help me shed old skin every day and give the old over to Christ, so I can heal. I an open to understanding what the lessons of adversity is teaching me. 

No one likes misery. Recently I had a few days that were miserable, simply because I allowed myself to believe I was unwanted, an inconvenience, and unwelcomed. Why not analyze our own selves when we find ourselves in a mood. If I had paused to do so, days would't have been miserable. We will see how we are willingly, willfully making ourselves miserable. No one else, we own it and only we can change. it. Remember while you are doing so, others around you feel the unpleasantness of your state of mind. Each of us most remove moods from our mental mirrors. 

The Bible advises believers to "let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt" (Colossians 4:6) and to "speak the truth in love" (Ephesians 4:15).

“The only way I’ve been able to get through it is to think about Lot’s wife,” Karen said. “When the scriptures say she turned into a pillar of salt, I think it’s because she was so taken with the past that she couldn’t move forward. You have to take one step and then another, even if they’re tiny steps. So move forward with faith in Christ. And don’t look back. Don’t be a pillar of salt!”

Easter is a celebration of the risen Lord. Followers of Jesus Christ should lead out their celebration of this most important holiday, declaring the light and truth of The Atonement of Jesus Christ and what it means for each of us. 

Dallin H. Oaks, a living apostle of Jesus Christ, stated, "The resurrection is the assurance that all mortality is temporary, that death is not the end, and that we will live again with our loved ones who have passed on." This hope and promise of eternal life is reflected in the scriptures, such as 1 Corinthians 15:22, which reads, "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."

The Garden, The Cross, The Tomb, The Resurrection, The Immortal Son of God who again taught and visited other sheep, is more than a historical fact or a nice story in scripture. For me, it is becoming the most essential experience of my ability to live. We all live because He died and was resurrected on the third day.

The agonized Sufferer, void of resentment but full of pity for the heartlessness of His treatment in being nailed to the cross, and blatant cruelty, voiced the first of several utterances from the cross. 

"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do" [Luke 23:34]. It was a plea for those who had brought anguish and death to the Father's well beloved Son, the Savior and Redeemer of the world. It demonstrates the depth of Jesus' compassion, even as he was being crucified. It serves as a reminder to us forgive others, regardless of their actions.
