Jesus continues to teach through parables. "And he disciples came and said unto him, Why speakest thou in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given." [Matthew 13: 10-11] Parables are like a picture with hidden objects. At first we see only the obvious, but the more we search, the more we find. 

Palm Sunday and Holy Monday are significant days in the Christian calendar, marking the beginning of Holy Week, which commemorates the events leading up to Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. In this blog, we will take a closer look at the events of Palm Sunday and Holy Monday.

You simply must understand this, because you were born to lead by virtue of who you are, the covenants you have made, and the fact that you are here now in the 11th hour. No matter how many mistakes you feel you have made or talents you don't have or how far from home, family and God you have traveled, you have not traveled beyond the divine love and the infinite light of Christ's atonement. 

Resurrection is hope because it promises new life after death. It signifies that death is not the end, and that there is a greater, eternal reality beyond this life. For believers, the hope of resurrection provides comfort and assurance that death is not the final word, but rather a doorway to a new and better existence. 

The Savior of the world said that the purpose of his mission was that we might have life and have it more abundantly. The greatest creation in the world is life, and the greatest form of life is the kind that God himself has; birth, education, death, and the resurrection.

From a spiritual perspective, "Wait to Win" can be seen as a reflection of the concept of divine timing. In many spiritual traditions, it is believed that there is a divine plan for each individual's life, and that everything happens for a reason. When we encounter obstacles or challenges on our path, it may be because we are being guided towards a different direction or a higher purpose.

Let us ponder this question: “What is the worth of a human soul?”

Being your brother's keeper means taking care of your fellow human beings, whether it be your family, friends, or strangers. It means being responsible for their welfare and making sure they are safe and protected.

The idea of a second chance God is powerful, as it offers hope to those who may have made mistakes or strayed from the path of righteousness. It emphasizes that no one is beyond redemption, and that God's love and forgiveness are available to all who seek it. Frankly, His love is always available to all, even when we do not use our agency to seek His love. One of the most powerful records of words of Jesus is when he hung on the cross for you and me, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." Sharyl's translation is: 'they are still children and often blind to their actions. I love them and am finishing the bitter cup, because I see them as they cannot yet see themselves.'

The concept of breaking the bands of death comes from the Book of Mormon, a sacred text for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In the book, it describes how Jesus Christ, after his crucifixion and death, descended into the spirit world and preached to those who had passed on before him. He offered them the opportunity to accept his gospel and be saved, which they eagerly accepted. He then led them out of the spirit world and broke the bands of death, allowing them to be resurrected and receive their physical bodies once more.
