Tom Gaymor: An Extraordinary Man in Motorsport and Beyond
Tom's journey to success has been far from easy. Despite experiencing a career-ending injury that left him with a broken back, he persevered and fought back to the sport he loves. He has since shared his passion for Motorsport with the world through his exceptional broadcasting and commentating skills.
His injury has given him a unique perspective on the psychological challenges that drivers face. He has witnessed the injuries and deaths of his friends in the sport, making him acutely aware of the risks and consequences of speed and thrill-seeking.
Tom openly shares his moments of fear and panic when things don't go as planned, allowing us all to relate to the chaos and calmness of life. By trading his steering wheel for a microphone, he found a new passion and was able to rediscover the joy of living.
Tom is also an Ambassador for Divert London, a program that provides early intervention for young people in the criminal justice system, helping connect them with employment and training opportunities. He is spearheading a movement to break the stigma surrounding those who have been in the system and guide them towards brighter futures.
