Every Word

We live in hope.

“I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

- John 14:2-3 KJV

He ran like a chicken.

“Go, return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus; and when you arrive, anoint Hazael as king over Syria. Also you shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi as king over Israel. And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place.”

- 1 Kings 19:15-16 NKJV

What can we know about God?

“And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love.”

- 1 John 4:16 NKJV

Who are these people?

“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’”

- Isaiah 52:7 NKJV

You don’t want to stay stuck.

“The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”

- 1 John 1:7 NKJV

I know. Unfathomable...

“Oh, that you had heeded my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.”

- Isaiah 48:18 NKJV

It got a little exciting.

“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

- Luke 21:36 NKJV

The lesson is too obvious to miss.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

- 2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV

A bond between nations…

“Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.”

- Matthew 25:40 NKJV

Before you condemn yourself…

“As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him.”

- Psalm 103:13 NKJV
