In this episode of Everyday Affirmations, we explore anxiety and the gentle process of learning to trust the mind and body again.
Anxiety often begins with protection. The mind scans for danger, prepares for what might happen, and tries to keep us safe. Over time that protective instinct can become overactive, leaving many of us questioning our thoughts, sensations, and reactions.
Today’s affirmations are designed to bring the nervous system back into steadiness and self trust. Through repetition and presence, we practice language that reminds the body it can settle and the mind it can organize itself again.
In this episode I also introduce the beautiful book The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. Its wisdom offers a reminder that courage, kindness, and honesty with ourselves are powerful companions when we are learning to trust our inner world.
