  • Kathy Dannel Vitcak - The Blissful Dog
With more than two decades of showing and breeding top-winning dogs and working in the pet industry, plus a
lifetime of loving dogs, Kathy Dannel Vitcak has developed a sharp eye for what products really work on dogs–and
how to share those products with those who need them.
Kathy is author of The French Bulldog, for An Owner’s Guide to a Happy, Healthy Dog (Wiley books). She also selfpublished The French Bulldog International Annual and was the orginal founder of JustFrenchies magazine. She has written many articles for various dog magazines and her work has been nominated for DWAA (Dog Writer’s Association of America) honors. She has also been interviewed by many of the top dog publications in the country as an expert in her breed.
You may be thinking NOSE BUTTER®? Really? Yes, really! For over 20 years Kathy bred top-winning, top-ranked French Bulldogs and they had to look dog show ready. But some of her Frenchies had gnarly, crusty noses. Kathy assumed it was a French Bulldog “thing” and nothing could be done…little did she know! So she used Vaseline or Vitamin E oil on their noses, which they hated and the idea of them licking and swallowing petrochemical by-products horrified her.
One day way back in 2003, as Kathy slathered shea butter on her “Minnesota winter” legs her Frenchies rushed over to lick the shea butter. She dabbed some of the shea butter onto their noses and within two days they all had soft noses with no ugly crusts!
Kathy can usually be found attached to her iMac, laptop or iPhone (possibly all at the same time), with Gio the English Toy Spaniel sitting behind her in her leopard office chair and Dude the Frenchie at her feet.

  • Jeannine Webster - Wylde Rose Candles and Soaps
My name is Jeannine.I am the soap lady who owns Wylde Rose Handmade Soaps. I am a mom in a variety of meanings and wordings to 5 amazing children with all different personalities and glorious talents. I am wife to a most wonderful man.
I have been making soap for over 16 years now. It is my passion. I am always trying new recipes, or new techniques, not to mention new ingredients. I still get supremely excited cutting open every batch!
Like most folks with my descent, I have a supremely pale skin which is quite sensitive and it does not like commercial soap products and lotions. I used to have to buy handmade soap but I got tired of paying $8, or even upwards of $10 for a bar. Soap making is definitely not the cheapest hobby to develop so I started selling soap to support my new obsession. I needed to make just one more batch…. that was 16 years ago. I will never charge more than I have to. I make a superior product without the superior price tag.
I refer to Wylde Rose most of time as we. Even though I am the person making all of these wonderful products, my family is standing beside me the whole way and I could not do it without their love, support and patience. My family is most precious to me and I would not use anything less than the highest quality on them. Therefore all of my products have been specially designed by me with the best ingredients used.
Over the last 16 years Wylde Rose has evolved. Many things have changed. Some products are gone, some have been brought back and of course new ones have been introduced. But the fact remains that I still make it all myself by hand. It is still all made in small batches. Most importantly I still love to have fun making great soap! That guarantees that you are going to get a great bar that is goodness for your skin.

  • Simon Paul Sutton - Burglar to Buddha
    Simon in his own words...
Lets say I’m a curious alchemist exploring life, a social entrepreneur dedicated to the evolution of humanity. Excited to consciously evolve and share my experiences transparently. The goal if there is one is to continue, the journey is the destination.
Over the years I've become a masseur, personal trainer, accomplished actor and film-maker, and a supporter to others. I love writing and now use all my skills in my vision of serving humanity to evolve into a new species of transparent communicators who have broken free of the lies we tell because of our fear of survival and now walk with integrity, mindfulness, compassion, love and consideration for ourselves and every living thing.
Everything I do is about the exploration of reality and creating space for people to question their existence and to ignite self love within every soul. I encourage people to make choices which serve their well being and enable them to take responsibility for their lives. Through this process the impact they have on the world benefits the whole of humanity. Everything I do is about breaking open the invisible prisons of society by bringing into awareness the dysfunctional programs we uphold as truth. I do this because it allows me to explore, and expand my own existence.
As the Dalai Lama said, this is the century for authentic dialogue.
