Everyday Eternal Podcast

Another giant Legacy event in the books, and of course Kai used to go to kindergarten with the winner, or something. We've given up on finding any halfway decent Legacy player in Japan whom Kai isn't associated with in one way or another. I'm genuinely not sure whether this is a running gag or actually true - but we're all here for it either way.Get a great look back at what went down in the biggest Legacy tournament in the world this year thus far - and find out which "hardest deck in the format" Kai is gonna rock at EW Europe, and why literally nobody in the Discord was able to guess it. Spoiler: previous generations of gamers actually went to prison for this, so Kai could finally be free.00:00:00 Julian Must Return To Egypt00:14:00 Remember Accelerated Blue? 00:23:00 EW Asia Analytics00:50:00 EW Asia Results01:26:00 Quick Vintage Look https://melee.gg/Tournament/View/116326https://melee.gg/Decklist/View/441720https://mtgtop8.com/event?e=60548&f=VIhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyY71GNsGC4https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-yiHAHdvcUThank you for tuning in,Until next time!Julian

"As you SEO plugin, I advise you to find a different title for today's episode."

Where do you even start with today's episode? I guess it's one of those that remind me of why we don't release show notes publicly: we got as far as the second bullet point today - and even that's being generous.

Almost 400 people gathered in Italy for Europe's largest Legacy tournament series, the 4Seasons in Bologna. Even more importantly, this iteration also featured the finals of the European Legacy Masters. Following 5k+ players grinding it out all across the continent for an entire season, 110 qualified players gathered in the Emilia-Romagna capital to crown their champion. Kai was on the ground to witness it all and do commentary, while also casually Top8'ing the Team event playing Vintage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SL7n5hMmOAI&list=PLhAJZyLBTDL6bHqP1Jl2w8fP_AeKh0-du&index=2Following a widely-celebrated cocaine scandal, Callum steps down from London Legacy Monthly to move away; according to The Sun. We hit you with the real news - and why he's currently hiding out in a rather unnamed Italian town.

Scheming from his villa, Callum has set up the ultimate MH3 impact tier list of all the new cards coming into the format. However, Kai comes in last-minute with an entirely unranked card and why he thinks it's a real thing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ciy2Wkar40g&list=PLhAJZyLBTDL6bHqP1Jl2w8fP_AeKh0-du&index=4In a shocking twist of events, the boys discover a stunning correlation between the most played deck in the most recent Legacy Showcase Challenge, and the highest winrate in the format. Skip the first 25 minutes in case you already know, as we decipher the arcane scrolls of wisdom. In the second half of the show, we get ready for the annual Modern Horizons shakeup, reviewing a bunch of good, bad  or, as Callum puts it, an utterly unplayable card Julian brought to class. Turns out one of those cards is looking MUCH better than the Twitterverse has given it credit for thus far, and Callum expects it to become a 4-of staple in the most played deck. Also, Julian listens to a podcast with sharktooth-necklace-wearing hosts...or so he thought.00:00:00 Julian Thinks Kai is Desperate00:13:30 The Most Played Deck w/ the Highest Winrate ?!00:27:20 Kai's MH3 Spoiler Picks 00:34:10 Callum's Picks00:49:30 Julian's Picks01:15:30 This Card is completely Overlooked! A Big THANK YOU goes out to the work of the Legacy Data Collection Project!https://www.patreon.com/legacydatacollectionhttps://mtgtop8.com/event?e=55909&f=LEThank you for tuning in,Until next time!Julian
