I share why “instant fix” approaches often fail, how the pressure to stay high vibe can backfire, and why small, consistent changes are more sustainable than dramatic overhauls.

News flash - a house can be drop-dead gorgeous and still feel oddly hard to live in. 

I've been working on some truly stunning homes recently, and noticing a pattern: the photos look perfect, but the Feng Shui often isn’t. 

When the floor plan is designed to be “unique” or when everything is open plan with very little structure, the energy can feel turbulent and unsettled even if the décor is immaculate. 

I talk about the concept of a spotless show home, and how that pushes so many of us into comparison on social media, straight into overwhelm and ultimately into taking zero action. 

You’ll hear practical Feng Shui tips you can use right away, plus an honest example from my own “wealth corner” where a few small repairs would lift the whole feel of the area.

What if the fastest way to change your life is to rehearse it, not in a perfect “vision board” way, but in a simple, human, day-to-day way? Today I’m bringing Feng Shui back to the one piece most of us forget: the self. Because yes, your home’s energy matters, but the way you show up inside that home matters too.

I talk through visualisation as a practical skill, not a performance. Your brain and body respond to imagined experience as if it’s real, which is why mental rehearsal can build calm, confidence, and clarity before you ever take the next step. I talk about the importance of keeping visualisation light and playful, how to avoid overwhelming “big dream” thinking, and why focusing on the next believable step creates better energetic alignment than forcing a giant leap.

I connect it to the Bagua and the nine areas of the home, using the south area as a clear example. April is the month of visibility, and in Feng Shui, the south relates to visibility, fame, and reputation, not always red carpet fame, but what people know you for and how your name lands when you’re not in the room.

If you care about mindset, law of attraction, home energy alignment, and building a reputation that feels true, this will give you a grounded place to start.

What if the thing you are chasing is not the thing you actually want, well not entirely anyway? 

I have money come up in almost every Feng Shui Home Energy Reading that I do, and it has pushed me to ask a sharper question: what does money represent to you at a deep level and what feeling do you think it will finally give you?

Today, I talk about why the Everyday Feng Shui podcast is shifting slightly towards a wider lens of energetics, manifestation, and the science of frequency, while staying rooted in practical Feng Shui. 

Yes, changing your home’s energy can make life feel more supportive, but I want to be honest about the part we play too. When we focus only on the external, we miss the internal patterns that keep repeating. When we focus only on mindset, we miss the power of an environment that reinforces who we are becoming.

We go into the childlike practice of asking “why” until the real desire appears, then we flip the usual script: instead of waiting for the thing to arrive so you can feel better, you practise the feeling first. Not by pretending or overspending, but by embodying the version of you who already feels freer, steadier, and more open. 

Finally, I share a simple metaphor for how Feng Shui fits into this: your home as the aerial that helps transmit and amplify your personal energy.

Today, I share with you a personal story of how Feng Shui saved my family unit.

Surviving lockdowns, dealing with dysregulated neurodiverse children, and immense amounts of stress meant that I very seriously considered buying a second home.

Not for luxury, but out of necessity.

I also share with you what my vision for Feng Shui in the world of modern women and how I believe it is being gate kept as a practice.

I truly believe every single person can benefit from deep level energtic alignment that comes from Feng Shui and it is my mission to share that with as many people as I possibly can.
