Jen surprises Dagda with a month-long passion project: a GWAR lyrics guessing game! After a week apart dealing with life's challenges, the hosts reconnect over coffee and dive deep into the theatrical shock rock world of GWAR. Jen reads lyrics from two songs off each GWAR album (spanning 1988-2025), challenging Dagda to identify song titles and albums. Along the way, they discuss personal stories about race and identity, share memories from military days, debate the campiness versus shock value of GWAR's aesthetic, and explore what makes this band so special. Jen also breaks down GWAR's history, prominent band members, and her three key takeaways about the band's cultural commentary. It's a fun, profanity-filled celebration of friendship, music, and one of Dagda's all-time favorite bands. RIP Dave Brockie (Oderus Urungus).
On a side note...Jen apparently answer the call of "GWAR" with "Gor-Gor" when she isn't paying attention..sigh.
