  • The Business of Joy: How Lana Platin Creates Magic Every Day

What starts as a creative spark can turn into something truly extraordinary and Lana Platin Creative is living proof.

In this episode, I sit down with the incredibly talented Lana Platin, the go-to for beautifully personalized, colorful, and unforgettable pieces including totes, denim, college gear, bachelorette swag, mitzvah must-haves, and more.

What sets her apart is thoughtful embroidery with messages of kindness, little reminders stitched into everyday pieces that spark connection, joy, and intention.

Lana has built a brand that is not just about beautiful design but about making people feel seen, celebrated, and special. So much of her inspiration comes from her angel mama, Sheila, a rockstar in her own right, whose love and spirit shine through in everything Lana creates.

The reason she is so successful is not just talent, it is the love in her heart. Every embroidered sweatshirt, bag, and gift carries a piece of her generosity, her joy, and her care. She is truly one of the kindest, most inspiring people I know. 🩷

Stick around until the end to hear more about where this remarkable woman gets her magic and fair warning, you will be singing her theme song all day! 🤩

  • Mother-Daughter Magic: How Rama and Anita Built Satya Blends from Family Recipes to National Shelves

I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with the incredible mother-daughter duo behind Satya Blends, Rama and Anita, and I walked away smiling and completely inspired!

Their company is named after their mother and grandmother, Sati, and the word “satya,” which means truth in Hindi. That spirit of truth runs through everything they do. Their spice blends are rooted in family recipes, cultural tradition, and incredibly high standards for quality. They source thoughtfully, support farmers in India, and create blends they would proudly cook for their own families.

And the momentum is real. Satya Blends was recently picked up by 500 stores of Sprouts Farmers Market, a HUGE milestone that has transformed their business (as well as some other big retailers to be announced soon)! They’ve also introduced the cutest and most convenient spice sachets, small packets of their blends that make it easy to cook vibrant, flavorful meals at home. I’ve tried them and they’re absolutely DELICIOUS and make cooking super easy!

What stood out most during our conversation was their partnership. They truly understand each other’s strengths and balance each other beautifully. There’s a deep respect between them, and that kind of trust makes for a powerful team. This was what touched me the most.
Their workspace is refreshingly scrappy too. A small, minimal space in northern New Jersey where big ideas and bold dreams are turning into a fast-growing national brand.

Both women were accomplished long before launching Satya. Rama is a respected chef who has spent years cooking professionally and serving local families through her scrumptious food. Anita also built her own successful career in the apparel business before joining forces with her daughter. Together, they’ve created something truly special that honors heritage while making Indian flavors approachable for modern kitchens.
Food carries memory, culture, and connection. Sitting with them reminded me just how powerful those traditions can be. Their goal is to grow Satya big, really big. And after meeting them, I have no doubt they will.

Please listen to the full conversation on Apple and Spotify. These are just a few of the great clips from my conversation with these rockstar women! 🤩🤩

  • Whole-Body Health Starts in the Mouth: A Conversation with Leading Biologic Dentist, Dr. Alex Volchonok

In this educational episode of Everyday Rockstars, I sit down with Dr. Alex Volchonok, a leading biologic dentist, to explore the profound connection between our  oral health and our whole-body wellness. This conversation, and the few times I have now been his patient, has changed the way I think about my own health. And, I believe it may change yours too. We dive into the key differences between traditional dentistry and biologic dentistry, how the mouth can act as an early warning system for inflammation, autoimmune issues, and chronic disease, and why understanding the bacteria in our mouths can help us move from reactive care to true prevention. 👌

Dr. Alex also shares insight into the innovative wellness center he’s opening and how dentistry can play a much bigger role in long-term health than most people even realize. This episode is about empowerment. It’s about learning how to listen to your body, ask better questions, and take a more proactive approach to your health. Dr. Alex brings wisdom, clarity, and a deeply human approach to care that goes far beyond the dentist chair…i.e. He’s exceptional. 🌟

As a special gift to the Everyday Rockstars community, he’s offering a free consultation to anyone who calls and mentions “Everyday Rockstars” or “Rockstars.” See what I mean? 🤩

If you’re curious about biologic dentistry, prevention-based healthcare, or how small daily choices can have a big impact on your future health, this episode is for YOU! • A Conversation With Myself: Lessons From a Year of Growth (Mistakes, Celebrations, Wins, Wise Words, Mentors, Mentees, Coaches, Discipline etc)!

This year taught me that growth doesn’t come from having it all figured out…it comes from showing up anyway. In this solo episode, I reflect on the lessons, mistakes, and moments that shaped the past year, from building Gilly’s Organics and Everyday Rockstars conversations, community, and personal expansion. This is about becoming, not arriving and learning to trust the process even when it feels messy. And even learning to embrace things when they are messy, knowing with full certainty that there’s always a lesson in there and I’ve grown so much from some humbling lessons the past year.

I’m so grateful you’re here!  I know you’ve had a full year as well, as many of you have shared with me.  I’m so grateful for that!  Please continue to do so at [email protected]. I hope you enjoyed this share and I wish you the most amazing, happy, healthy, successful (your definition), peaceful and loving new year ahead!

    Xoxo, Gilly

  • Making It SAFE to Rise: Tracy Litt On Expansion, Embodiment & The Choice To Become Your Next-Level Self⚡️

What if the reason you can’t access your next level in business, love, money, or life has nothing to do with effort… and everything to do with safety?

In this powerful and grounding conversation, I sit down with transformational teacher and founder of The School of Becoming, Tracy Litt, to explore the nervous system as the true command center of your life. Because here’s the truth most of us were never taught: you cannot choose your highest self if your body doesn’t feel safe.
Tracy breaks down how our nervous system is constantly scanning for safety or threat “safe or unsafe safe or unsafe”and how the moments we feel stuck, reactive, overwhelmed, or small are simply signals asking for safety, not judgment. Through her signature Choice Method, Tracy teaches how to shift out of fear-based patterns and into conscious choice using what she calls your Non-Judgmental Observer (NJO), the part of you that can lovingly witness, soften, and create safety in real time.

In this episode, we talk about her course that I’m in now where we learn:
       •   Why success, growth, and confidence are impossible without nervous system safety.
       •   How to identify the subtle patterns that pull you out of alignment.
       •   What it actually means to “make it safe” in your body.
       •   How to choose from your highest self - your “SHE” - instead of from fear!
       •   Tracy’s upcoming program Becoming and the work inside The School of Becoming.
       •   We do live breath work and real-time embodiment practices you can feel as you listen!

This is a must-listen for all women! This is not just for entrepreneurs who feel dysregulated, overextended, stuck in old patterns, or disconnected from her next evolution. Safety is a skill. Choice is a muscle. 💪And this conversation might be the unlock you didn’t know you were missing.

If you’ve been doing “all the right things” but still feel like something’s off… this episode will land exactly where it’s meant to. Thank you, Tracy for being in my world, being a rockstar 🤩change-maker for women in the world and for just being you, Queen. 👸🏻

    Much love! Gilly

  • Writing Emails That Sell, Saying “Tough Titties” to the Rules & Building Success Your Way: A Fun, No-Filter Chat with Laura Belgray 🤩

    Mild Explicit Content‼️
Some language and irreverent humor. Hilarious, honest, and maybe not for kids this time.  Not apologizing, just a heads up.

This week on Everyday Rockstars, I’m joined by Laura Belgray, best-selling author of Tough Titties: On Living Your Best Life When You're the F-ing Worst, a professional copywriter, and founder of Talking Shrimp.

We talk a bit about the stories behind Tough Titties, which is a snort your coffee, wickedly funny, IDGAF, did she just say that?, relatable book about growing up, messing up, and figuring life out without pretending to have it all together. Laura goooooes there and that makes her all that much more lovable.
You’ll laugh, share it with your friends from your city days in the late 90’s, and if you’re me, stalk her DM’s to make her laugh back.  What? It worked!
Laura teaches people to write emails that “actually” work (IYKYK) through her wildly popular courses like Inbox Hero, emails that sound (and ARE) human, get opened, and sell without feeling salesy.
She taught me how to write my emails like I’m writing my bestie. Well, minus some stuff just for the BF.
We touch on her upcoming in-person writing event in March 2026 which I know will be worth it.
This episode is fun, unfiltered, and full of permission to be yourself…expletives included.
Go get Tough Titties!  I promise you will love it- Laura, thank you for being real, vulnerable and perky!😉🤩
