"That's what we all are in the end,
Stories, told over and over again;
Living in the memories of people who knew us,
Gradually fading away with their memories,
Struggling to breathe, eventually drowning in oblivion.
The light from some of those stars left thousands of years ago, before the advent of recorded history, and the stories of all the people who had lived then, lost by the time these starlight reached us;
That's the scale of human life,
Our struggles and sorrows,
Our joy and enthusiasm,
Our drive and despair,
All lost during the journey of a single starlight;
It's a pity that in this obscurity,
We fight for claim to things,
With no assurance that we,
Who could contemplate its recognition,
Would survive and wouldn't be lost amidst eternity;
Just like our purpose, the quest for it will disappear between nothingness;
Where thus lies our existence?
In love? In compassion? In care?
Or in all of it?
