On Sept 5th @FaatiTheStreet tweeted a thread of femmes/WOC who for seemingly no reason cannot/don't communicate with the main cast of white people in TV & films. She pegged it as "The Silencing of the Shrew" and gave a name to the voiceless, mysterious, aloof, primitive, shy, weird, traumatized, no-English, and mute (often Asian and Indigenous) WOC Hollywood loves to keep quiet. This episode we talk about 3 characters who were silenced by their white writers and the voices they deserved and never got.
