Is AI going to kill us, save us, or create some super god? Who knows. I don’t, and neither do these AI bros.

You’ve probably seen lots in the news lately about AI bros saying that we need to slow down or pause the development of AI. And I agree 100%, but maybe for different reasons. Many argue that these recent statements serve to help big AI companies gain regulatory capture by limiting who can enter the space, and others say it’s to pump up their tech by making it sound fancy and powerful, thus helping drive up their future IPO prices. And it’s hard to know for sure because AI & tech leaders say a lot…all the time…like they won’t shut up…and it’s constantly changing.

So, in this episode, instead of trying to psychoanalyze each one of them and get at the true meaning of why they’re saying what they are, we’re going to have some fun. I’ve done some research into the craziest, most unhinged things these bros have said about AI, covering everything from how it’s a demon, to how it’s god and those who oppose it are the Antichrist, and everything in between. We’re going to make fun of them and crack some jokes at their expense, because spoiler alert, they are all very weird and upsetting people.
