The first Back to Godhead magazine I got enlightened me, and I realized that as I wrote in my notebook—not back when I got my first Back to Godhead magazine. But this relates: It's not that there are many problems in the world. The world itself is a problem, and that's the idea when you're able to categorize properly. Vadanti tat tattva-vidas tattvaṁ, what are we pointing to? What are we talking about? What are the qualities of the energy? That's when you can solve the problem. You have to do it categorically. You can't do it piecemeal by trying to adjust in the material world. That's one of the main points. And then the positive point comes: What do you want to point to?

This is where most philosophers fall short—they don't give us an option. They may say that the world is full of suffering, and they have incomplete knowledge of where we can repose our attention, where we can give our energy, and where we can serve. But Chaitanya Mahaprabhu informs Sanatan Goswami that you are the eternal servant of Krishna; that's your nature, and Krishna is the source of everything. Ahaṁ sarvasya prabhavo mattaḥ sarvaṁ pravartate iti matvā bhajante māṁ budhā bhāva-samanvitāḥ (BG 10.8). Krishna says that when you come to this conclusion, you'll give me all your attention. There's nowhere else to give your attention, logically, and so this verse is vitally important.
