Following the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s decision to push the 2030 ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars back by five years, we’ve got Joel Teague, co-founder of community charging app Co-Charger, on the podcast to discuss the decision, the real reason behind it and what it means for the electric vehicle industry.

This week, we’re joined by one half of Nissan Formula E Team's driver lineup, Sacha Fenestraz. This year, Sacha secured one pole position and two fourth placed finishes in his debut season in Formula E, but despite some impressive performances, he admits that he still has a lot to learn. In this interview, Sacha reflects on the season as a whole and gives us an insight into his relationship with his teammate Norman Nato, as well as detailing what it’s like to be behind the wheel of a Formula E car. 

In this episode, we’re joined by Mike Nakrani, the CEO of fleet electrification firm, Vev. Having previously worked for the likes of Ford and bp, where he was Vice President of Mobility and Electrification, Mike has been involved in the industry for a number of years and extensive international experience in the electric vehicle sector. Here, Mike discusses the UK’s electrification movement and how it can learn some important lessons from the likes of China and Norway, as well as explaining why time is running out for companies to electrify their fleets.

Joe is here today to talk about the development of Metis Engineering’s Cell Guard technology, which has been designed to prevent the unnecessary scrappage of electric vehicles, with a sensor that can provide data on the condition of an EV battery.
