  • Signs of High Masking in Autistic Women and how the Masks Drain the Body

Girls and women so often get missed in diagnosis because we are so good at high functioning and develop masks early in life to fit into society. In this episode, I talk about the most common masks and how they contribute to autistic burnout cycles. Understanding your masks, and the reasons you created them, will help you to better understand your inner world and eventually know how to avoid burn out.

    About me:

I am a late diagnosed autistic women and coach for late diagnosed and self identifying autistic and ADHD women.

I self identified for years before seeking my assessment when my traits became more obvious in perimenopause. I now coach late diagnosed and self identifying women to embrace their new identity, understand their nervous system so burnout cycles can be managed better.

My work is online and I offer lots of free resources and support to late diagnosed/self identifying women⬇️

As a neurodiverse woman, your nervous system has a lot more input than a neurotypical system when sensory overload, overthinking and feeling emotions harder are taken into account. Here I explain why this is and how somatic coaching helps you to manage your your system better. More resources available:
