Friends is one of the most popular shows of all time, & one of, if not the, highest earning shows of all time, especially for its stars, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt Le Blanc, Matthew Perry & David Schwimmer. Even before Friends aired its first episode in 1994 on NBC, everyone was convinced it would be a smash hit. The show aired for a decade hitting sky high ratings & making the six cast members playing Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler & Ross some of the most famous people on the planet. With the success and money that Friends brought NBC, Warner Brothers, the cast & everyone else involved with the show, it meant the set & stars of Friends all needed to portray an image of perfection, but as can be the case in Hollywood, things were not as perfect as they seemed behind the scenes.
