  • F*ck Your Toxic Masculinity!
Come learn about toxic masculinity with us! Don't worry this isn't a male
bashing sesh. We are really talking about what it is, some reasons it happens,
and things we can do to help prevent it in our own lives as well as around us.
As always, we talk about our own experiences, our opinions, and some ideas we
have around this topic.  This episode does cover a few ideas that might make
some people a little uncomfortable, but isn't that part of growth and learning?
Lets hold space and kindness for each other while we all learn together.  Happy
    listening!

  • F*ck Me! I'm Pregnant!
Trigger warning! This topic could be sensitive from some individuals who are
trying to get pregnant and are struggling in their journey and we do want to be
sensitive to that. Please know these are our opinions and experiences with our
own journeys and we hope you find love, healing, and hope on whatever journey
you are on right now. Let's talk about pregnancy pains! The ups, the downs, the
vomiting! (Or was that just Monica?). This episode covers our own experiences,
things we know and have heard, ideas and thoughts we have and a pretty funny
story about the strange man who delivered Monica's daughter and how much Aja
    loves attention. Happy Listening!

  • F*ck, I Don't Want To Be My Parents
How many times have you heard someone say they don't want to be their parents.
Or maybe you have felt that yourself? Why is that? Is this trauma based?
Society? How we were raised? Why do we grow up wanting to be so different than
our parents? This week Monica and Aja talk all about their own reasons why they
don't want to be like their parents, what they do differently, things they are
doing the same, and even a few things they admire about what their parents did
do right with raising them. Happy Listening.

  • F*ck Me! I'm H*rny!
Let's talk about S*X!  No, but seriously. Let's talk about it. Let's talk about
our relationships, communication, libido, the craziest places people on
Instagram have told us they have "gotten laid" (as Aja calls it)! We really feel
this topic isn't talked about enough so this isn't going to be our first, last
and only conversation we have about this.  This was one of our most requested
topics because a lot of people struggle with this issue in relationships and it
often comes down to communication. We really hope this episode helps  people
feel more comfortable getting the conversation started.  Happy Listening!

  • F*ck This Hell (PPD with Ruth @thequestionablemom)
This week we have our first guest on the podcast and it is Ruth from
@thequestionablemom on Instagram. We were so honored to be able to speak with
her about her experience with postpartum depression (PPD), as we know this is
not an easy subject to talk about. Ruth has been documenting her motherhood
journey on Instagram for awhile now, including advocating for more awareness
around PPD, and has been an amazing resource and help to many parents and
especially women struggling with PPD.  She is real, honest, funny, and an all
around amazing woman who is not going to put a filter on motherhood.  This
episode is all about her struggle with PPD, how she realized she had it and
needed help, how she is still coping, and more. We are going to be pretty raw in
this episode so please be aware of that.  We hope if there is anything you take
away from this, and you are struggling,  it is that there are people out there
who have experienced similar things in life, and there are resources and people
who want to help. Asking for help is always okay.  Happy listening.

  • F*ck Ain't I The Pretty One
When we sat down to do this episode we really felt it was going to be about ways
to communicate how to talk to your significant other on ways to feel more
appreciated, beautiful, loved and accepted in a relationship, but it went a lot
different than anticipated. While it is important to feel those things in our
relationships with our significant other, it starts within ourselves (as cliché
as that sounds). How are we expecting others to look at us and tell us how
beautiful we are if we are tearing ourselves down in the mirror every day? Why
do we feel like we need the validation of someone else to make up our self
worth? This week we are really talking about how we need to flip the narrative
and remind ourselves of our own value, worth, and beauty because loving
ourselves and looking in the mirror and saying "yo that a$$ is killer" is where
    it's at. Happy Listening.  https://www.marriageandmartinis.com/dnq

  • F*ck Making Friends With Your Kids
Being a parent is hard and sometimes we try to make things easier. One way some
of us choose to do that is by making friends with our kids.  This weeks episode
is all about how making friends with our kids can be detrimental in the long
run, and even dangerous. Monica and Aja go into all the experiences they have in
regards to this issue, including problems in their own childhoods when their
parents chose this route and why it was damaging.  We talk about ways you can
avoid it, things we have done to be more successful in setting boundaries for
ourselves and our children and what to look for.  Happy Listening!

  • F*ck, My Kids an Extrovert
We either have those kids who are the total opposite of us, or we know someone
who has them, but it happens. Here we are, one of us an introvert and one of us
an extrovert. How the hell do we make this work?!
This week Monica and Aja are talking about the difficulties of navigating the
introvert/ extrovert life when your kids are the opposite, or when you have
multiple kids and no one is the same. Things get complicated.
As usual, we are talking about our own experiences and things we have done to
    help ourselves in these situations.

  • F*ck Yes! I'm A Hairy Beast!
Let's NORMALIZE body hair! All of it. In all of its glory.  How many women do
you know, yourself included, are out here stressing about their body hair. Too
damn many.  This week Monica and Aja are starting the conversation around body
hair and why it is important. Not only are we starting the conversation but we
are getting into our own issues and insecurities with it as well.  We can't wait
to keep this conversation going with you guys! Happy listening!

  • F*ck Your Hierarchy
This week Monica and Aja discuss the dangers of societal constructs when it
comes to the idea of "respecting your elders" and "family is family".  We dive
into why these ideas can lead to toxic and dysfunctional relationships. We also
cover why these ideas can end up in abuse of power and how to avoid these
    issues.
This episode touches on ways you can start to work toxic relationships out of
your life and steps you can take to take back your control.
We hope you will take something away from this episode as it is one of our more
    heavy hitting ones to date.
    Happy Listening!
