Steve spent over 20 years interviewing Edward Van Halen. His 1978 interview that featured Edward playing is legendary! His new Book draws from many unpublished interviews!
Steve shares insights on when and where he first me EVH, the immediate bond they created and the beginning of their 26 year friendship. This book is 600 pages and has stories and detail writing of close to 50 hours of taped phone conversations with Edward.  
Steve divulges antidotes on the early years of the band, how EVH was happiests during those times and the relationship with producer Ted Templemen.
They cover the break up with Roth, The addition of Sammy Hagar and a bit of Wolfie mentions, plus much, much more to list.
