The creature comforts that have come to be embedded in our DNA are too convenient and important to shun due to their relatively sporadic risks. It is simply impossible now to imagine a world that's not at your fingertips. But make no mistake about it, that comes with a cost... Strangers are in your children's bedrooms, phones, and earbuds. Influencing their actions, manipulating their motions, and spreading evil. This week we take a look at some nefarious beings who sought to introduce a bizarre new game that spread like a disease to the youth. One that only ends once they're dead...

During the new year we all tend to think about the future. We think about what comes next. We think about what we can change about ourselves to make us better. We think about ways that we can make circumstances better for our families and friends. We attempt to evolve to a form that is superior to the prior year's version. But not everyone sees it that way. Spawned by a broken family, Gaskins fermented in a pool of perversion before his mental framework was erected. Violence, robbery, and rape were common themes in Gaskins' childhood, which he embraced en route to adulthood. In and out of juvenile detention centers and prison, looking back it was anything but a surprise that he matured into a cold blooded murderer. This week on the Evil Examined Podcast we invite one of our listeners on to discuss multiple near death experiences and other paranormal happenings. Brian Wemesfelder was just driving down the road with his wife until suddenly, moments later, he was vaulted through the windshield and launched onto the concrete ripping all the flesh off of the front of his skull. After flatlining in the ambulance, he would go on a bizarre journey into the sky and view a plethora of otherworldly sights. Years later, while in a much darker place, he would crash his motorcycle and have a second near death experience that would be of a more sinister and disturbing variety.
