Our 100th show!  We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate this milestone than by having our two most important mentors on the show:  Mike Brown of the former Praesidium Group and Craig Douglas of Shivworks.

Topics:   Meeting Mike in the mid 90s, how he became such an important coach and mentor to Eric and Aaron; how he pushed Eric join the TPI forums and to take ECQC.  The Twins becoming a host to Craig for multiple classes through the years and how that relationship led to training with others in the Shivworks collective.   TPI and its influence on the current multidisciplinary realm and how forums have transitioned to video and social media.  Is this good/bad?  Who are folks in this multidisciplinary realm whom both Craig and Mike recommend and what makes great instructors.  Lastly, we talk a little gear, P365s, red dots, and some other fun topics to close out the show.

Boon is a survivor of the 2012 Benghazi Al Qaeda attacks where he was one of the CIA GRS contractors who helped defend and evacuate personnel.  Boon, Tyrone "Rone" Woods, Kris "Tanto" Paronto, Jack Silva, Mark "Oz" Geist, John "Tig" Tiegen and Glenn "Bub" Doherty working for GRS saved countless lives in these attacks.  Unfortunately, Rone and Bub were both killed during their heroic acts.  We also lost Ambassador Christorpher Stevens, and Communications Specialist Sean Smith.  Their story was memorialized in the book and movie 13 Hours in Benghazi. 

Boon is also co-author of the book, Benghazi Know thy Enemy with former CIA Targeting Officer Sarah Adams.   DB is also a BJJ Black belt and an expert in the field of combatives.  This show we talk details regarding some of the classes that he offers.  A few discussed but not limited to, Low Signature Pistol, Close Range Engagement, and Concealed Defensive Carbine.  A bonus discussion on Boon's preferred 556 and 300 BLK ammo was also very informative.
