Carlos says about his life:
“Born in State of Mexico in 1994. Parents named Patricia and Juan Debora. Grew up in Mexico until the age of 19 where I served a 2-year LDS mission in Northern California, USA. After the mission I lived in Mexico again for about 6 months before venturing out to Utah. There, he met who will become my husband while living in Utah.
Came out to my mom at the age of 21 and parted ways from religion at the age of 22 after I got married to my husband Nick Bowyer. Currently live in Daybreak and have a puppy named Benji. After facing many emotional challenges due to internal conflict between religion and sexuality, I strive to create more LGBTQIA+ awareness in Utah. Creator of the Facebook page “Utah Pride Stories”.”
