Tesla still doesn’t support CarPlay or AirPlay. Not because they can’t.Because they don’t want to.So we added it anyway. In this video, we take a Cybertruck, drop in a Raspberry Pi 4, and turn the whole thing into a rolling Android tablet—apps, streaming, games, maps, the works. No jailbreak. No firmware hacks.Just using the system Tesla already gave you… a little differently.⚡ What it gets you* CarPlay * AirPlay * Full Android apps inside your Tesla* Charging networks Tesla didn’t bother integrating* Real navigation options (Waze, Google Maps, etc.)* HDMI input → Xbox, PlayStation, Apple TV* Multiplayer gaming + rear passengers can cast + control content🛠️To do this, you need* Raspberry Pi 4 (with cooling—this thing gets hot)* CarPlay module (Carlinkit works)* USB → HDMI capture* Data connection (5G modem, hotspot, or Ethernet)* Whatever you want to plug in (Apple TV, console, etc.)Full parts + setup links below.🔧 Full setup + parts👉 Raspberry Pi 4: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VFCZBLH?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_MW4N1S7NGQMH7P6577BA 👉Carlinkit: https://a.co/d/06Dx56Ee 👉USB to HDMI Capture: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C2MDTY8P?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_VK7N368CN4MV48NSS998👉Hotspot: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZ82RM5L?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_HA1RH5XY42G5FZ3H7WQP
Rewind to 2011 when Brian and Jack discuss the tipping point for EVs in the United States. EVTV was founded in 2008 in response to silly gas prices and escaping energy dependence. Well, here we are in 2026 with sky high gas prices and the conversation about electric vehicles is happening well, again.
From discussing the feasibility of affordable futuristic cars and the potential of long-range Cybertrucks, to the nuances of Tesla's marketing strategies and hardware upgrades — we’re covering the most recent earnings call with a breakdown look across the board — from the rumors, the results, to what’s to come next in the products down the line. Join us as we delve in with EVTV’s shoptalk on Tesla's latest developments and the ongoing evolution of electric vehicles.00:00 Introduction and Greetings00:26 Earnings Call Highlights00:44 Affordable Cars Discussion01:39 Cybertruck and Long-Range Models02:01 Advertising Strategies02:39 Hardware and FSD Updates04:18 Tesla's Map and Software Issues06:09 Battery Longevity and Hydrogen Vehicles08:16 Cybertruck Design and Market Appeal09:27 Future Tesla Models and Concepts10:47 Oil Changes and Dealerships11:13 Affordable EVs for the Masses12:45 Roadster Product Update16:13 Tesla's Software and AI Focus18:14 Industry Opinions and Future Predictions22:48 Wrap Up and Technical Issues
Harley-Davidson built a real electric motorcycle — and somehow most people still barely knew it existed.
We got our hands on a Harley-Davidson LiveWire, specifically an early numbered First Strike edition, and took it out to see whether it felt like a real motorcycle or just another EV experiment with handlebars.
Turns out, it’s quick. Very quick. Around liter-bike territory quick. It handles well, has a surprisingly good throttle curve, DC fast charging, a familiar charge-port placement where the fuel cap would be, and even Harley’s little “heartbeat” feedback so you know the bike is on and ready.
It is not perfect. The riding position is more sport-bike than cruiser, range still matters if you ride with gas-bike groups, and the price was not exactly bargain-bin friendly. But as an electric motorcycle? Harley did a lot more right than people gave them credit for.
In this video, we cover:
Thanks to Lawless Harley-Davidson in Scott City for letting us take it out.

The VinFast VF8 overpromises but under-delivers, with harsh driving dynamics and unpolished software. Does its features do enough to make up for its flaws? Is it priced fairly? And perhaps the biggest question: will it dethrone the Toyota bZ4X as the worst EV on the market?Vinfast VF8- The New Benchmark, for the Worst EV
