For over 19 years, she and her Life Impact International team have been relentlessly working to make a difference in the lives of trafficked, exploited, and at-risk children in Thailand, Myanmar (Burma), the war-zones in between, and now in Brazil.

Bio on Lana
As a teenager in Southern California, Lana was living a desperate life full of
addiction and heartache. She was longing for something that she couldn’t find dancing in the nightclubs of Hollywood. At 19 years old, her search ended
when Jesus found her and gave her new life in Him. Her whole world changed and now, being so wonderfully found, Lana felt the overwhelming desire to
rescue others with the same love of Jesus that saved her. She knew she was rescued to rescue others and that is exactly what she set out to do with the rest of her life.

Now, for over 19 years, she and her Life Impact International team have been relentlessly working to make a difference in the lives of trafficked, exploited, and at-risk children in Thailand, Myanmar (Burma), the war-zones in between, and now in Brazil. Their strategy is simple: prevent, rescue, and heal. They fight to prevent the atrocities of exploitation in all its forms from trafficking, abuse, and abandonment, to slavery and prostitution. They fight to rescue as many children as possible and they fight to bring healing and restoration to broken hearts, bodies, and minds.

Life Impact International has grown from the desire in a young girl’s heart to reach and rescue others with the power and love of Jesus Christ, to an
international organization effectively fighting child exploitation throughout Southeast Asia and Brazil. Lana’s heart is that this impact would continue to spread throughout the earth until child exploitation is put to an end!

Jon Hunt is a retired Chief Warrant Officer from the US Army after 22 years as an AH64 D & E Attack Helicopter Standardization Instructor Pilot. His career spanned the deployment to Kosovo, Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan & Syria over 8 different deployments. He currently works as AH-64E Instructor Pilot in Qatar, while also pursuing his Master’s degree in Political Science at Liberty University and is currently helping Afghan refugees arriving to Qatar get much-needed supplies.

In our talk we discuss what he is doing in Qatar to assist Afghan refugees in receiving the supplies they need to live and how we can get involved and help.

Venus Monique is American actress. She started acting in college when she was cast as the lead role in her first play. She continued staying active in the theater while completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.
 
 After a couple of years of juggling physical therapy and acting, Venus moved to Austin, TX without a job so that she could begin earnestly training for a career in film. After a few months of struggling, she landed a gig as a stand-in on the ABC Family show, The Lying Game. There, she learned the ins and outs of the industry and took that knowledge into the variety of projects she's been blessed to be a part.
 
 Venus has a passion for inspirational films, challenging roles, and letting God plan her steps.

Thor Ramsey wrote CHURCH PEOPLE, in which he stars as “Guy” the megachurch youth pastor. Thor has been a working standup comedian since 1987. He began his career as a club comic where he worked in most of the major comedy clubs around the country, such as the Improvs and Funny Bone Comedy Club chains. 

In 2004, Thor became the host of the “Bananas” comedy series, which was purchased by Sony television and could be seen in over 90 million homes in its heyday, mostly by 12-year-olds. Along with “Bananas,” which ran for three seasons, Thor was featured in three of the best-selling Christian comedy DVDs of all-time, “Thou Shalt Laugh,” from the same producer as The Blue Collar Comedy Tour. 

Thor also wrote and produced his own comedy series for one season, “Comedy At Large with Thor Ramsey,” which aired on the now-defunct iLife TV channel. Thor has also produced and directed five standup comedy specials, including “Brimstone & Punchlines,” “Narrow Road Comic,” “Square” and “Thor Ramsey’s New Comedy Revolution 1 & 2.” 

Thor is a member of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and is the author of three books. He has a wife, two daughters and a son.
