The Law of Giving is a powerful law and may even be the most powerful.  The learning, embodying and actively practicing this law is the key to all manifestation and is an important connection to God..  The Law of Giving is known as many things - The Law of Circulation, The Law of Tithing, The Law of Cause and Effect or the Law of Attraction or even The Law of Karma.  The Bible verse that is the basis for this law is Luke 6:38, 

“Give, and it will be given to you.  A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.”  Luke 6:38. (NRSV)

It can be a daunting task to discuss fear and it’s various impacts and implications on our lives today.  Fear is ever-present in our culture at large and is even known in our churches and spiritual centers.  Everywhere we look, there is fear.  People have often trivialized fear but truthfully, fear robs us of our joy and keeps us stuck in a mindset of “not good enough and what if’s.”  Quite simply, fear is a prison of the mind.  Love, on the other hand, is its opposite.  We seek to live our lives in love and in the present moment.  The present moment is a gift and available to us always.  Where are you in your life right now?  Are you worried about the past or ruminating on the future and what “could happen”? There is a gift to be had in facing the fear, seeing it for what it is, and relinquishing the need to know what’s next or focus on ‘what should have been.”  The now moment is a gift from a God and a direct line to the soul.

Forgiveness on a regular basis is a profound spiritual practice that brings freedom and wholeness.  However, deep forgiveness can feel a little discombobulating if it’s a big shift that has released an old, deep-seated issue.  The great news is that the new energy is good and healthy.  But when we are accustomed to carrying around old, toxic energy, it is important to allow ourselves time to settle in to the new energy. We need time to rest and be at peace. Self-care and times of rest and journaling to process can be very important.  Right after forgiveness, do not make big decisions, do not pass go.  Stay settled and grounded. Check in daily with Spirit using the Intentions journal. And trust that you will be guided into your next move.
