Why is it that 1 out of every 3 items we recycle in the U.S. is “contaminated” and ends up in a landfill? “It’s a marketing problem” says Tracy Bugh, founder of Recycle By City. Using her expertise in digital marketing and video, Tracy has created city-specific marketing campaigns that give residents crystal clear guides on how to dispose of everything from phone books to yogurt cups. Our guest today, Dr. David Russ, has created a revolutionary way to treat children with anxiety. Turnaround is a digital audio program for kids based on clinically proven cognitive therapy methods. In this episode “Dr. David” teaches us about the “nuts and bolts” of anxiety and how they designed a program geared towards the vocabulary, attention span and imagination of kids. He also shares his personal family story which inspired the product.
