Hey everyone! I’m here in the River of No Return, also known as the Salmon River, that stretches from Montana to Idaho. I’m on a six-day white-water rafting trip down one of the most interesting stretches called the Main Salmon River. In this episode, I’m going to go over the history of the Salmon River, highlight the top five events that I experienced on the trip, and I’m going to end this episode with fun fiery facts about fires! Summer’s here, the sun is out and it’s time to get off the screens and explore in real life!  You don’t have to go somewhere exotic, like the Great Barrier Reef, the Pyramids in Egypt or into space with Jeff Bezos—just get out your sunscreen and look in your own backyard!And if you guys are wondering, what’s in my backyard? Well, imagine a relaxing day at a beach with a stunning shoreline, long-winding nature trails, varied wildlife, and a bunch of kids happily running around! That’s right, I’m at Tod’s Point Beach in Connecticut.

In this episode I’m going over the some brutal invasive species in Tod’s Point, the beautiful birds living in this fantastic beach, and I’m going to end with a heated debate—should the beach be called Tod’s or Greenwich Point! I’m here at the northern part of the Everglades National Park in south Florida, at a place called the Shark Valley Visitor Center. This is one of three gateways to explore the fascinating Everglades, which is one of the largest national parks in America and most expansive wetlands in the world. It’s so cool it’s actually a world designated UNESCO World heritage site, which are fancy words which mean that the place is really special… And that we should try to keep it special. I’m here in the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Reserve located on the Gulf Side of South West Florida. We’re close to the city of Naples. Rookery Bay covers over 100 thousand acres of mangroves, and upland and protected waters. I’m doing the Mudflats and Mangrove Kayak Tour with Rising Tide Explorers.
