In this episode, Dr. Hackie Reitman speaks with Haley Moss, the first openly-autistic lawyer in Florida. Haley is an artist, author and autism self-advocate. She is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, and was just admitted to the Florida Bar in early 2019. She is also a renowned visual pop artist, and the author of "Middle School: The Stuff Nobody Tells You About" and "A Freshman Survival Guide for College Students With Autism Spectrum Disorders". Haley discusses how she found out she was on the spectrum, what made her decide to go into law, and gives advice to other people with autism that are working to pursue their goals.

In this episode, Dr. Hackie Reitman speaks with Gabriel Axel Montes, educator, scientist, and founder of Neural Axis.

Gabriel currently completing a PhD at the Hunter Medical Research Institute (University of Newcastle, Australia), in collaboration with the Interacting Minds Centre (Aarhus University, Denmark). He works in cognitive neuroscience and neurorehabilitation, and centres around body ownership, agency, predictive processing, and mind-body interventions in stroke rehabilitation. He leverages multi-sensory processing in a virtual reality environment to tease apart components of selfhood and agency, with the goal of enhancing them. His experience as a mind-body practitioner and instructor (various forms of mindful movement, meditation, and contemplation) informs his work. In this episode, Dr. Hackie Reitman speaks with Jackie Rosen, CEO and Executive Director of the Florida Initiative for Suicide Prevention (FISP).

In 1986, Jackie’s 24-year- old son Mitchell Allen Rosen died by suicide. Since then she has become a tireless advocate for suicide prevention, and for supporting those left in its wake. She is also the author of "The Butterfly on my Shoulder.” Jackie discusses her story of dealing with the grief of losing her son, the warning signs people should watch out for in their loved ones, and the best ways to help someone that may be at risk for suicide.
