    Eddy Temple-Morris, who has worked in what could be termed as the Entertainment Industry Plus for over 27 years, has extensive experience as a radio presenter and a radio show producer including years of duty at BBC Radio One, Atlantic 252’s On The Edge, The Remix show on XFM and his current position as a presenter on Virgin Radio.  His TV experience includes producer and presenter for MTV’s Up For It, presenter on Channel 5’s chart show, producer and presenter for ITV’s This Way Up, presenter for Channel 4’s Mobile One The Grid.

    He’s been music curator for festivals, TV and radio shows, even music for The Queen’s summer exhibition plus the favorite tour DJ of The Prodigy, Placebo and Pendulum. He’s produced and composed music used by Films and TV shows including Game Of Thrones and CSI, and video games like Far Cry. He is undeniable proof you can get through this business while being nice to people. Plus he is Chair of the Music Board of mental health charity, CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) and involved with a new game changing mental health start up and non-profit called My Black Dog. He is on a mission to get men to be more like women, by this he means to communicate their feelings more openly and for people to realise that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. He moves, like a benevolent vapor, between the worlds of music, radio, TV, cars, food, wine and mental health. One day he’ll do something that joins all these things. We wish you luck on that.

    And joining Eddy is Andy Strange who, for over 30 years, has worked as recording engineer, mix engineer and/or producer. He worked as the assistant and engineer for the legendary Sir George Martin for 15 years and has engineered for dozens of number 1 albums and artists including The Pretenders, Natalie Imbruglia, Burt Bacharach, Mark Knopfler, Bush, George Rafferty, Pulp, John Lennon, Elton John, Duffy, Celin Dion, Cher, Michael Jackson, The Fugees, Paul Young, Robbie Williams and on and on. He currently runs his own studio called Strange World which has both vintage analogue and modern digital systems offering Mixing, Mastering, Recording, Live Recording and Remote Mixing services.     Alastair Lindsay, an award-winning Sound Designer and Composer, who studied at the Cleveland College of Art and the Dewsbury & Batley College of Art & Design and holds a Diploma in Music from the Open University is currently Head of Audio at Cord Worldwide which creates music that connects global brands to their audiences. They are a team of creators, artists, producers and supervisors with offices in London, Madrid and Warsaw. They say they are a little different and they like it that way. Before joining Cord, Alastair spent 13 years at Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe, starting at the position of Senior Sound Designer and Composer and working his way up to Head of Audio. Previous to this he had over ten years’ experience in working professionally in Sound Design and Composition including 5 years at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.

    Alastair is passionate about interactive media with a deep understanding of video games and how they are produced, from a number of different genres, social, cinematic to AR/VR games.  

    And joining Alastair is Justin Andree who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Technology from Staffordshire University is Senior Music Supervisor at Cord Worldwide. Justin has worked most of his career in the music industry including holding the position of Producer and Music Supervisor at Adelphoi Music. He has also had experience at Apply and Getty Images. As a Music Supervisor for Video Games and TV he is forever searching for interesting music and talented folk to work and collaborate with. He is an avid gamer, animal gif expressionist and claims doesn't always talk in third person.

    Daniel Altendorff, who has a BA (Hons) in Media Studies from the University of Portsmouth started in the music industry as co-founder of the still operational Concrete Music with duties which includes running weekly, new music nights at a number of different venues in London and Portsmouth and stage management for a number of UK festivals. On top of this Daniel worked his way up from Music Assistant to Key Account Manager at Universal Music’s Production Music division. He made the move of leaving Universal in 2018 for No Sheet Music where Daniel holds the position of Business Development Manager

    And joining Daniel is Jeremy Newton who has a degree in History and International Relations from the Nottingham Trent University started his working career as Account Manager at Acylicize where they create bespoke Art & Installations for all types of interiors. From there he moved over to be the Business Development Manager at The Odyssey Media Collective where they produce hi-speed video production. He then took a year away from Odyssey to work freelance as a Business Development Manager at video production company Run Productions. At the same time Jeremy started, and has continued to this day working as a DJ, Promoter and Radio Host under the name Uncle Vibes, playing regularly at renowned London venues in addition to festivals including Secret Garden Party, Shambala and Boomtown, hosting the monthly Adelphoi Show on Soho Radio, promoting various parties rooted in groove including the legendary Open Vinyl Sessions that has graced Ronnie Scott's, The Hospital Club, The Groucho Club and Paradise and is currently resident at O'Meara, Jack Solomons, and Strongroom Studios. After a year at Run Productions Jeremy returned to Odyssey where he took up the position of video Producer. But in 2015 he joined Adelphoi Music at his current position of Music Supervisor overseeing and delivering bespoke compositions, sound design and sync for national and international advertising content for brands including BMW, Stella Artois, KFC, HSBC, Amazon and more.

    Greg Brimson, a multi award winning Producer, Remixer, Studio Engineer, Musician and composer who has achieved international chart success working with artists as diverse as Eminem, The Levellers, Gary Numan, Bush, Natalie Imbruglia and on and on. He is founder of Defacto Records and Tuune TV plus he continues to be active in A&R consulting.

    And joining Greg is his brother Bob Brimson who spent the last 20 odd years fronting up Universals live operation and video departments.  Starting out as guitar tech and tour manager for the likes of Terence Trent D’Arby, Alison Moyet and Kirsty McColl, then co-manager of Britpop outfit Echobelly and a short stint with his heroes XTC he took the company shilling as Head of A&R for Arista Records but soon moved to Universal – he semi-retired after being in charge of the spending for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games in London in 2012.

    Adam Bushell, is a freelance music supervisor who has experienced many sides of the sync licensing industry. Starting out as a music supervisor at Soundtree Music, then working in the synchronisation department at publisher Spirit Music Group. And most recently as founder and Creative Director of Tin Drum Music, where he oversaw the music for the Engine Group.

    And joining Adam is our second Adam. Adam Lieber who has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Cape Town where he DJed and threw large scale events hosting the likes of ninja tune and other artists. He studied sound design, performance and audio/visual production at Fabrica and has a MA in communication art and design from the Royal College of Art. Adam Lieber, for over 11 years, has been running his own company Shtik, which provides bespoke sonic solutions and composition for advertising, film, television, brand identity, digital and interactive experiential media. Plus, over the same time, Adam has been the Director of Schmutz Films which is a boutique production studio specialising in music, fashion, the arts & of course food, because apparently, they love to eat, feed folks and believe food is the way forward! Plus, and I am serious here, Adam is a serial-fermentor teaching the magic of fermentation in his spare time. But before all this Adam was at Soundtree Music as a freelance music supervisor, composer and sound designer for 6 years.

  • Exploring Music E 12 Music Industry Navigation for New Artists Part 01 of 02 with Peter Moore and Mark Jennings

    This episode is going to be a little different from the others. In this episode we will be discussing advice for new artists, how to prepare for live shows/festivals - how to stand out from the crowd and why new music finds it very difficult to get seen and heard. 

    Peter Moore, has been working in the entertainment industry for over 25 years including holding the position of product manager at Sony Records. He is the Co-Founder of PRB Media and also of Seamless Entertainment Ltd. PRB Media places music in film & TV, with clients including Universal, Paramount, HBO, Disney and Warner Brothers. Seamless Entertainment was formed through the Prince’s Trust and has produced live events for audiences ranging in size of up to 50,000 people. With strong expertise in music festival management, Peter advises UK & European festivals on structure and financing. Peter has also advised young people on the Music, Film & TV industries under the New Deal for the Media program with the UK Government. For this work, Peter was awarded entrepreneur of the year, two years running, by the Institute of UK Directors and Hewlett Packard. Peter continues his advisory work, working with the UK music industry governing bodies, including the Association of Independent Musicians. 

    And joining Peter is Mark Jennings. Mark is CEO of Subba Media, which runs Subba-Cultcha.com, a fan generated reviews platform for music and festivals. Mark has worked in digital publishing and advertising his whole career. He's witnessed the change in audience participation across digital media and is aiming to disrupt the music media landscape through Subba Media.  Subba Media runs Subba-Cultcha.com, a TripAdvisor style fan reviews platform for music and festivals.  Peer-to-peer content is trusted by fans, festivals, artists and venues and aims to put artist’s and fans center stage.     Alexandra Carlsson Norlin, who studied International Relations at the Stockholm University, has, for almost six years held the title of Music Supervisor in the London office of the international company Big Sync Music. She’s worked on numerous global projects where she’s been in charge of music on both the legal and creative side. This includes everything from finding and licensing existing tracks to creating original compositions and re-records. Her project client list includes AXE, Dove, Lipton, Casper and a ton more Unilever brands. 

    Federica Farronato, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies from the University of Padua, Italy and studied Advanced Marketing at the City University London, is the Sync Manager at Chrysalis Records and Blue Raincoat Music. Before Chrysalis Federica was Music Supervisor at Big Sync Music. Federica also has extensive experience in radio and music PR. She is an enthusiastic and creative individual, with a strong history of working with teams and working to tight deadlines. She says her enjoyment and critical interest in the media ( music, radio, television, film journalism, and new media) has increased continuously throughout her professional career.
