There's no way a tree can flourish without being exposed to the elements. You have to be exposed to all of it before you can capitalize on the good parts of life: opinions, hardships, trials, approval, setbacks, etc. You cannot grow without exposing your weaknesses. Just maybe you are being exposed for your own growth, which equals power.
