Revelation 22:18-21 covers the final section of the book of Revelation which I have titled "Faithful to the End." In this section we are working with the idea that We must adhere to the words of this book!

In vv. 18-19 learned about 1) The Prohibition of Christ.

Now, in v. 20a we see 2) The Promise of Christ.

Then, in v. 20b we see 3) The Prayer to Christ.

And finally, in v. 21, we learn of 4) The Present of Christ.

We began to unpack vv. 18-19 where we are learning of 1) The Prohibition of Christ.

In v. 18a we saw a) The recipients.

Now, in v. 18b we see b) The prohibition against addition.

Then, in v. 19 we see c) the prohibition against subtraction.

Revelation 22:16-17 covers the topic of "Revelation for the Church." Here, we are working with the idea that The Church needs to understand the book of Revelation!

In v. 16 we noted first of all 1) The One who wants us to understand.

Now, continuing to discuss v. 16, we see 2) The Recipients of the Book.

Finally, in v. 17, we look at 3) The Invitation.

Revelation 22:16-17 covers the topic of "Revelation for the Church." Here, we are working with the idea that The Church needs to understand the book of Revelation!

In v. 16 we note first of all 1) The One who wants us to understand.

Revelation 22:12-15 covers the topic of "Payday with Jesus." Here, we are working with the idea that Payday is coming!

In vv. 12-13 we noted 1) The Person bringing the pay.

Again, in v. 12 we saw 2) The Timing of Payday.

Now, going back to v. 12 one more time, and then into vv. 14-15, we see finally 3) The Fairness of Payday.

Revelation 22:12-15 covers the topic of "Payday with Jesus." Here, we are working with the idea that Payday is coming!

In vv. 12-13 we note 1) The Person bringing the pay.

Revelation 22:8-11 addresses the topic of "Responding to Revelation." Here, we are working with the idea thatWe must respond biblically to Revelation!

In v. 8 we learned that 1) The book of Revelation can be overwhelming.

Then, in v. 9 we saw that 2) The book of Revelation should cause us to worship God.

Lastly, in vv. 10-11 we learn that 3) The book of Revelation is relevant.

Revelation 22:8-11 addresses the topic of "Responding to Revelation." Here, we are working with the idea thatWe must respond biblically to Revelation!

In v. 8 we began to learn that 1) The book of Revelation can be overwhelming.

In v. 8a we saw that a) God has revealed His plan for the end of the earth and eternity future to His people.

Now, in v. 8b we see b) God revealed His plans through His powerful messengers.

Then, in v. 9 we see that 2) The book of Revelation should cause us to worship God.

Noting that a) No true servant of God would accept worship. (v. 9a)

b) All true servants of God believe and obey the Word of God (v. 9b).

c) All true servants worship God (v. 9c)
