Do we endure suffering with joy, seeking God's will and plan, as Paul exampled for us? Or do we grumble about our present circumstances, robbing God of glory and diminishing our power to share the gospel?

Paul instructed the believers in Philippi to love others heartily and approve what is excellent, which we examine more closely in this week's expository devotional.

Paul found real joy by being thankful through his present physical circumstances. His focus on the right priorities allowed him to look beyond his suffering to the glory of Christ.

We can have full confidence that God is perfecting His good work in us and will continue to do so until we are raised in glory to be forever with the Lord.
