If you find yourself consistently compromising in a relationship and losing bits and pieces of yourself in return then opt out of that relationship. Don't stay there until you're gone just so you can pat yourself on the back for giving someone your all. That's not loyalty. That's stupidity. And you’re very DELUSIONAL 📌

Options are plentiful, devotion is not. There are SO many people in the world who will be attracted to you, intrigued by you, and interested in getting to know you. Any decent looking or attractive person, at whatever age, will always have a plethora of options to date.

But devotion, at any age, is not plentiful. Not even in your early twenties. Connecting with a person who is genuinely devoted to loving you and choosing you, in seasons of growth and health and loss and wealth and transformation and evolution. It isn’t plentiful.

I cannot stress enough the importance of having friends you can experience intimacy with.

Sex is nice and a great workout, but that’s not what I mean.

Frequent hugs, lots of eye contact, holding hands, eating food in bed wearing pajamas ,bonnet and big T-shirt —when you reserve all that shit for a single person who hasn’t even shown up yet YOU ARE STARVING YOURSELF BABY.
