We address the recent story of Margaret Healey, a 93-year-old Alzheimer's resident at a nursing home, who wandered off overnight on February 8, 2026, and died in the cold. Democratic State Representative Jane Garibay, Chair of the Aging Committee, and Carolyn DeRocco, the Vice President for programs and education at the Connecticut Alzheimer's Association, address several issues related to the case and disease.
