On 4th June 2023, I had the honor of playing several extended sets with friends during my good pals' Andre & Brittany's 24-hour+ marathon rooftop party, in Bedstuy, Brooklyn NYC. We had a perfect sound setup for what was an intimate gathering filled with good vibes, great music, perfect weather, and plenty of debauchery 👾🥳🫠.

Here is one of my sets from during the early morning hours around 5am, under my Vek Neirbo alias. Trippy and groovy vibes in which I think you can hear and feel the debauchery of the party through the music.

My first house mix in quite a while, after exploring different styles in 2022 such as minimal and drum & bass. For the Selective Soul Sessions series, I am venturing back to my roots, while also keeping things fresh with contemporary styles and sounds. This mix ventures from deep house, to funky minimal, deep tech, and even some organic house vibes as well.

Featuring music from artists such as Janeret, iO (Mulen), Gerd, Lizz, Clive From Accounts, LVCA, Mihai Pol, Legit Trip, Floog, Fulltone, Amonita, Artmann, Andrey Djackonda, O.bee & Aline Brooklyn, and more.

Here we are with Volume 2 of my Liquified Soul sessions mix series. Two hours of soulful liquid drum & bass - on the deep, jazzy, and melodic end of the spectrum. Some dubby heaters in there as well, for good measure.

Compared to Volume 1, this one goes a bit more uptempo with higher energies -especially in the first hour, while the latter half goes deeper and more melodic which is more reminiscent of Volume 1.

Featuring music from artists such as Calibre, LSB, Janaret, Zero T, FD, Goldie, Redeyes, RoyGreen & Protone, Atlantic Connection, Marcus Intalex, Syncline, and many more.

Some prominent labels featuring in the mix are The North Quarter, Jazzsticks, Spearhead, Liquid V, Footnotes, Hospital Records, etc.

The response to Volume 1 was astounding, so I hope you all enjoy this next chapter as well.

Sweet sunshine! Here's my first exploration into the world of liquid drum and bass, with this 90-minute journey through jazzy, soulful, dubby, summery feeling drum & bass.

Chapter 2 of Vek Neirbo's Macrodose Sessions mix series, featuring tunes from Arapu, Boris Werner, Daniel Bell, De La Swing, Dorian Paic, Dubfound, Guy From Downstairs, Lizz, Swoy, Silat Beksi, and many more.

Welcome to the world of Vek Neirbo. It's 5am in a basement filled with sweaty dancers. The room is completely dark, only lit by a faint red glow from LCD lights around the perimeter. Cigarette smoke and fog fill the room, while a massive Danley sound system pulsates eccentric and bass-heavy grooves through your body. You suddenly realize that the microdose of mushrooms you took earlier may not have been micro at all, as the moving human bodies surrounding you suddenly transform into dancing entities of light and love, while you become one with the music and the universe.

The sun begins creeping through the basement windows slowly as the music shifts with the energetic pulses of the sun, slowly peeking it's warmth onto a degenerate's playground.

Is the party over? Hell no, it's only just begun. :)

Macrodose Sessions, Vol .01

After over 3 years since the last chapter, I present the latest iteration of my ongoing audio journal series, Volume 11:11.

This is my heart on my sleeve, in audio format.

I've often found that these mixes succeed in communicating my feelings far more eloquently than words, and they've often foreshadowed future events in my life as well.

When I began this series, music was my only viable form of communication when it came to deep emotions, and so the series was born, and has been intermittently added to over the years during extraordinarily emotional periods in which I needed an outlet.

Since 2013, I have managed to go through quite a bit of healing and am now equipped with a wider variety of communication tools, but there is still a unique message I feel I can convey more clearly through music, than any other form of communication.

The backstory for this mix: in 2020, my ex-wife Ania and I reconciled our relationship and returned home to one another's hearts. Considering it was her who inspired the series in the beginning, I felt it was only fitting to tell the story of our miraculous journey back to one another, in the same format I used to tell the story of our breakup.

Our reuniting only occurred as a result of her going through a near-death brain cancer experience in 2019, which allowed us an opportunity to reunite to see one another in a new light, after 7+ years apart on our own individual healing journeys.

This mix is dedicated to Ania and tells the story of our journey back to one another, while also harkening back to the past as well. After all, it is my strong belief that music, like love, is eternal.

I hope the music can reach the hearts of those who need to hear its message most.
