I'm kicking off Women's History Month with two badass ladies, Taryn and Carrie, owners of Audacity Rising, a movement encouraging others to be their best selves. They host the Audacity Rising podcast and were the first women I met in podcasting. On this episode, they get very real sharing their journey to happiness through leaning into their passions and how they became "unstuck" through their side hustle, Audacity Rising.

Dawn kicks off the second week of #RegionRats on the #FacingFearPodcast. Her journey from grieving to grateful started with an accident resulting in paraplegia. The grateful side of life started when Dawn shifted her perspective by navigating motherhood, continuing her epic sports career and leaning on the support of family and friends. The grieving side taught Dawn the world isn't going to adjust for her so she learned to adapt in more ways than one.

My friend and fellow Region Rat, Nikko Berrios, kicks off a new series in February where each week I will feature someone from the 219 (aka Northwest Indiana). Due to losing his powerhouse mother at a young age, Nikko grew up quickly and redefined himself from the inside out. As a young adult, Nikko's transformed from a college frat boy to a competitive young adult aspiring to finish a marathon in April. He opens up to listeners and offers his help to anyone who's lost a parent.
