If you've been rocking with me for a while now... you know I started my public speaking on the topic of passion over paycheck. While I truly do love and stand by that mission, I transitioned into Facing Fear because I found fear is what we ALL experience. Today's guest combines both passion over paycheck and facing fear with her inspiring backstory and five tips on how to take action.
After 15 years of chasing job titles and promotions in NYC, Chris quit everything in the summer of 2019 to pursue a new chapter in life more aligned with her authentic self. She moved across the world and created P.S. Younger Self, a platform and community to share wisdom from inspirational entrepreneurs, life coaches, creatives and thought leaders from around the world to help people crush their fears and optimize their lifestyles to live a life without regrets.

Welcome to Part II of the Facing Fear One Year Anniversary Celebration! To review the back half of the first year, I brought a very special guest on the show... MY MOM! When I think back over this year (and my entire life) my mom has always been a HUGE cheerleader in everything I have attempted to do. She did an amazing job talking through the episodes with me and I'm excited to let you hear more about me personally, too.
Thank you for ONE year of the Facing Fear podcast! Did you receive the latest newsletter? Check it out here.

Between this week and last, I’m celebrating 10,000 listens by re-airing four of the listener’s favorite episodes. Last week consisted of two episodes, and this week will follow with two more. Thank you, to my amazing listeners, for helping me get to this point. THANK YOU!
I am so excited to re-air this episode because we ALL need to listen to the wise words from Dawn. One of my best friends even referred to her as, "Dawn mother fcking doing this shit Crawford" if that tells you how powerful her story is. I often refer to this episode and interview as the one I am most proud of. Hit play to understand why.
RE-AIR FROM 2/10/2020: S2E6 DAWN CRAWFORD
Dawn's journey from grieving to grateful started with an accident resulting in paraplegia. The grateful side of life started when Dawn shifted her perspective by navigating motherhood, continuing her epic sports career and leaning on the support of family and friends. The grieving side taught Dawn the world isn't going to adjust for her so she learned to adapt in more ways than one.

10,000. Five digits. 1,000 ten times. One, zero, zero, zero, zero. In under a year. Wow. Here’s to 10,000 thank you’s and many more.
Today I am so proud, excited and honored to officially announce the Facing Fear podcast has hit 10,000 total listens. The number is incredibly cool don’t get me wrong, but the reason I am really this excited it because this was a major milestone I set for myself almost a year ago when I began this journey.
And as with everything in my life. I faced fear on the way there which I discuss on today's episode during the introduction.
To celebrate 10,000 listens, I am going to re-air four of the most popular episodes over the next two weeks. Then on Monday, November 9, I'll be back with a brand new episode.
RE-AIR FROM 10/22/2020: S1E2 ZACH SIGMUND
Zach Sigmund is living example of why setting and reaching YOUR goals can change your life. Raised in a household with parents who abused drugs and alcohol, he found support through the Boys & Girls Club of Indianapolis. In 1997, he became the Youth of the Year. His ambition caught Finish Line's attention and he was featured in the company's magazine as a Youth Success Story. He put himself through college, built a family and currently is LeGore Club's program director.

Josh Sims is another incredible person I've met during the year of social distancing. We met through a mutual podcaster friend and connected quickly as we grew up only 15 minute apart. Josh is an architectural designer for the firm Studio M, the co-founder of 2eze Clothing and the host of Just A Kid From Gary Podcast.
Josh is originally from Gary, Indiana. An area in Northwest Indiana with a reputation that often outweighs what the city is actually like. Once called the "Murder Capital of the US," citizens of this underdog city are determined to uplift their city. Inspired by his architecture studies, Josh started the Just A Kid From Gary podcast to highlight individuals who grew up in cities like Gary and are now doing amazing things.
And of course, we chatted about fear. Josh's fear is "almost every time I hit publish on a new piece of content." He breaks down how he overcomes this fear with a tip straight from the heart.

Lindsey Hein is a DREAM guest of mine! So excited to welcome her to Season 4 of the Facing Fear podcast. Her podcast, I'll Have Another, is one of the first podcasts I EVER listened to!
After being unable to find a podcast about running that interested her, Lindsey started her own. Six years later, her show has over 270 episodes with 3 million downloads and is her full-time job. WOW. Freakin’ goals, am I right!? Not only does she talk the talk, she walks the walk. She’s done 14 marathons, a half IronWoman and is a running coach for anyone looking to achieve a 5k to an Ultra marathon.
We talk about facing fear in over three topics. Facing the fear of running a virtual race, the fear of health when Lindsey got tested and found out she’s BRCA-2 positive and finally how she’s conquered hurdles to take her side hustle to her full-time passion.
