In this episode I have narrated a small, beautiful story about a boy. We all have the opportunity to help create positive change, but most of the time we think “I’m already really busy, and how much of a difference can I really make?” This is true when we’re talking about addressing any problem around us. That's what this story teaches us "You might not be able to change the entire world, but at least you can change a small part of it, for someone." So we must start somewhere whether its small or big the most important thing is to start & get going.
In this episode of Failure to Success I have spoken about dreams. Its very important to see the dreams & pursue them even in the most difficult times of our lives. I have narrated a story of a Bollywood actress & Bharatnatyam dancer Sudha Chandran who met with an accident at the age of 17 and to save her life doctors had to amputate her leg. For a person who has aspired to be a dancer loosing a leg can be the most devastating experience and the last thing to expect. But Sudha Chandran never gave up on her dreams, this is a story of a pain and agony she had to go through while dancing with an artificial leg. Her leg use to bleed but she never stopped. Sudha Chandran not only became one of the best dancers but she also acted in movies in various languages. She also acted for many serials for television. Her story teaches us not to give up and pursue our aspirations no matter what obstacles come in our lives.
In this episode I have spoken about how it is easy to admire some ones success but its very difficult to walk their path and live their journey.
I have spoken about one such journey of an Indian pop icon Usha Uthup, who has wowed her audience with her pop, filmi, jazz, and playback singing for decades has now created a new record. Usha Uthup never had formal training in music – in fact, in school she was thrown out of the music class because her voice was different than others. But that did not stop Usha Uthup from pursuing her dream. She was passionate about singing and no rejection could put an end to her passion. This is something that all of us have to learn from her. We are afraid of failure and when we face a rejection in life, they become depressed and think that their future is tarnished. No matter how tough life is we should be strong and fight back. Usha Uthup fought back and made use of her husky voice in her favor by making it her strength.

I have narrated a story of young woman farmer, Ranjana Kukreti from Uttarakhand who is a change maker & renewing the way hill farming is done. While a section of Indian millennials, driven by food safety and sustainability concerns, takes on urban farming with gusto, aided by agri-tech start-ups, Kukreti, a post-graduate in rural development, has resolved to be a farmer, to feed the country’s growing population. In the climate-controlled and meticulously monitored environment of her polyhouse in Dehradun plains, the rice cultivator’s painstaking efforts yield a steady supply of vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumber, bright green spinach and chillies. In her constant endeavour to learn something new and experiment with the latest science-based techniques, Kukreti picked up new rice farming skills, at the International Rice Research Institute‘s (IRRI) headquarters in the Philippines last year (2018) as part of an initiative by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT). She was one among a group of eight participants from across the country.
Her objective is to combine traditional knowledge with scientific techniques is bringing in a new dawn for hill farmers of her village in Uttarakhand.
In this episode of Failure to Success, I have spoken about How we should value time? In fact time is the most valued possession which we all have. In order to explain this better I have taken an excerpt from a very famous book " How to live on 24 hours a day" which was written by an author Arnold Bennet from the 18th Century. Arnold who use to work as a clerk had a very strong desire to become an author. He had all the qualities to fulfill his dream. While contemplating about the book he realized that the only asset he has is "time". So he utilized and invested his time wisely and became a great author of 18th century.
Life is a precious and a beautiful gift and one should live it to the fullest. However sometimes we get too engrossed that we forget to enjoy this gift. We keep on postponing our happiness, health and then we realize that we haven't lived the life meaningfully. This is a story of Muniba Mazari Pakistan's first model, anchor & artist who is on wheelchair. Her life changed when she met with an fatal car accident which left her paralyzed for rest of her life. The tragic car accident left her with several injuries as her backbone was crushed and she sustained multiple fractures to her arms, shoulder, collarbone and rib cage. Her liver and lungs were injured as well and she remained under treatment. Despite all these injuries that struck her, Mazari tried remaining positive, and greeted everyone who came to meet her with a smile on her face. This attitude confused the visitors and often they questioned her if she was really unwell. It was only because Mazari had decided that she was going to live for herself. She was not going to be that perfect person for someone, she was just going to take this moment and she will make it perfect for herself. She was going to fight her fears; the fears of known, unknown, losing money, losing health and fear of the inner self.
Mazari was named one of British Broadcasting Corporation’s 100 Most Inspirational Women in 2015 and was also featured in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 the following year.
