  • Shaping history
On today's episode I will be sharing some thoughts on people who have and are shaping history (like Dr Martin Luther King, Kamala Harris and Amanda Gorman). I think it's important for us to remember history, be aware that history is always being shaped and that the choices we make for our future will be fundamental for our own personal and family history.

  • Armour
The killing of every innocent, unarmed black person in this world is no longer simply a news story, it is fuel for protest, evidence to illustrate systemic racism, and it is an added reason to continue to advocate for the humanity of black people in this world.
I say all this because in this episode, I want to ensure that we are equipped with digital and mental armour, to combat the battles we face in this world because of racial injustice. If you are a black person, have African ancestry, have black family/friends and believe in the humanity of each and every living, breathing person in this world, then this episode is for you.

I want us to be OK with not having done everything we set out to, and look forward to doing it next year.

  • #GiveThanks
All over my Instagram feed I've been seeing #GiveThanks and people have been sharing beautiful stories and pictures of people and things they are grateful for. So I want to join in and share my gratitude on this episode. President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints instituted a gratitude challenge with the hashtag #GiveThanks
