In this sermon from Numbers 22-24, we see how God's sovereignty and protection remain constant, even when His people are unaware. As the Israelites camped near Moab, Balak, the king of Moab, feared their growing power and sought to curse them by hiring Balaam, a well-known prophet. However, despite Balak’s efforts, God controlled the situation—Balaam could only speak blessings over Israel. This reminds us that no human scheme or opposition can overturn God’s plans and promises.
This passage points us to Christ, showing that God’s protection and promises are irrevocable, and His ultimate plan for salvation through Jesus remains firm. No matter the challenges or unseen battles we face, we can rest in the truth that God is always working on our behalf.
