Faith Baptist Church: Fairless Hills, PA

In our series "It Matters" today we look into one of the most fundamental doctrines of the faith - the doctrine of grace. Grace is a truth that is central to our understanding of salvation and our relationship with God. It is through God's grace that we are saved, forgiven, and transformed.

The passage we are about to read will be familiar to us since we read this together last Sunday.

It is our awareness of our own depravity that leads us to see our need for God's Grace in our lives...notice the phrase in our text "where sin abounded, grace did much more abound"

Numbers 9 we see the importance of remembering God's faithfulness, obeying His commands, and trusting in His guidance as we journey through life. Just as the Israelites were led by the pillar of cloud and fire, we too can rely on God's presence and guidance to lead us through the challenges and uncertainties we face.

In our sermon series "It Matters" we will see the Total Depravity of Man. Paul helps us understand how this came to be by contrasting the effects of Adam's sin with the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

Paul explains how sin entered the world through Adam, bringing death and condemnation to all mankind. The text reveals the consequences of Adam's disobedience and the benefits of Christ's obedience.

We see the universal impact of sin and the boundless grace of God in salvation.

Wrong Ideas about God will ultimately lead to wrong ideas about who we are. What we believe about God is essential to a fulfilled life in this world.

In our sermon series "It Matters"..., we will be reminded that every individual is fearfully and wonderfully made by God, knit together in the womb with purpose and divine care.

We will see the value and dignity of every human life, from conception to natural death, and to uphold the sanctity of life as a sacred gift from our Creator.
