This week we work through the season of lent once again (a bit odd for Baptists, but why not be odd?) in order to focus on what it means to seek God in our lives and listen for God’s voice in a chaotic world. If we want to be apprentices to Jesus we must learn to approach God in the ways that he did.

Pastor Borden discusses the concept of being apprentices to Jesus, the lens through which we will approach the season of Lent starting in March.

Today we were happy to welcome Rev. Dr. Cheryl Ann Beals, the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada’s Director of Clergy Formation and Wellness, who helped us transition to the Easter season with some teaching on personally seeking and knowing God.

In the third and final sermon of this series, we continue to explore the relationship between faith and money and learn what it means to have a Biblical approach to money in our attitudes, wise management, and giving. Money is spiritual, and approaching it that way can bring peace and security in our lives when we trust God with it.
